I've been coming to London every year since 1999 and I'm a British Citizen and can sadly say it's decline is evident. So sad to see this once great city falling into a state of decay and neglect and I really feel for the Brits who love the place they call home. Shame. Having said that , Once you've seen the mandatory sites in the Capital, get out and go see the country towns which are epic, steeped in history and culture and provide a real slice of what this country is about.

This is one city you've got to see.

This is one city you've got to see. Buy an Oyster card for public transport, hop on a double decker bus to go wherever you need to go. Expect crowds and don't believe the lies about it always raining in London - they get less than pretty much every major world city outside of desert countries. Be prepared for a tiny hotel room and the best pubs in the world.

    I enjoyed visiting London.

I enjoyed visiting London. I had planned to meet a friend there as it was convenient for us due to living at different ends of the country from one another. Also, having both worked in London in our earlier years we wanted to visit some landmarks. We visited Peter Jones a branch of J.Lewis which we both know well and enjoyed a nice lunch there. I also managed a short visit to the 'Saatchi Gallery' as I am a keen painter and enjoy the arts. unfortunately Only 2 downstairs galleries were open on the particular day I went due to one exhibition finished and being cleared. Pity! I hope to go to London again and do more sightseeing though. So much on offer!

There is so much history to explore in London, most within walking distance. If we were tired we just caught an uber. The train system is incredible. We loved Moca Museum, the modern art is truely inspiring. Loved Buckingham Palace and the Royal Mews, Westminster, Tower Bridge. Tip - be sure to book a guided tour where possible you’ll get heaps more out of the experience.

We loved walking around London on our first ever visit there. There were a lot of green spaces to walk through, which we really enjoyed. We really enjoyed seeing all the architecture from many different time periods, going into historical and old buildings. The public transport system is extensive, and as long as you give yourself enough time, it is pretty effective. Just about anywhere you stay near the city that has close public transport would be a good place to stay.

It is convenient for my office and transport links. The standard of accommodation is very good, everything works and is clean, there is no congestion in moving about the property and staff are efficient and friendly. There are nice touches - chocks in the room to go with the nespresso, a complimentary baggage locator tag, complimentary newspapers. I have stayed here and with other Leonardo Hotels in London. They are well run and a credit to their management and owners.

What a great hotel. Nice, clean room with comfortable bed and total darkness during the night. No irritating lights and no noise from other rooms. Great water pressure in shower, which can be hard to fint in England - and that on the 6th floor. Large gym with good equipment. Free water refill and a working refrigerator. All inn all one of the best hotels I've stayed in in London with good connections bus and tube wise. Very happy. Worth the money. Will come back.

The apartment was spacious, particularly for London. The communal area is a comfortable, homely and open room that meant we could work from the apartment without having to go into the office. With the current price of hotels in the area about double what it was for the same time last year, this was the perfect solution and still within our budget.

It’s one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed in. Full of characters. And location is super convenient if you travel from Heathrow. Elizabeth line connects to central London effortlessly. The bed was super comfy. The staff were so nice and remembered me from my past stay.

We were upgraded to one of the new apartments in the annex. It was really lovely.. The hotel is well placed for London, but Chiswick itself is a really lively place with great restaurants. Highly recommended.
