Seeing the changing of the guard on a sunny day with the band in their beautiful uniforms and bear hats was impressive. I loved going to church at Westminster Abbey with the boys choir singing! The tour of the Mews at Buckingham Palace was fun! I would recommend all!

Having been born & grown up in London I was very familiar with the old, pre modernised museums, sights, shops etc. Although impressed with the V & A, I do not rate the modernisation of the Natural History & Science Museums. Their personalities, tradition & design have been lost in my opinion, with only a fraction of their historical artifacts on display now & their appeal gone. My first time inside the Royal Albert Hall & it didn't disappoint. Very impressive. The filth & congestion of London continues to worsen but public transport has definitely improved. It is so easy & cheap to travel around the City. Unfortunately London feels more dangerous than I recall with a distinct lack of a visible police presence. Keep your bags close & closed. Wallets safe & beware of cyclists, they think they own the roads, are dangerous & abusive.

London had a good vibe, people were friendly, and getting around the city is easy. Train stations are bizarre with so many platforms but we found the staff very helpful. There is a great variety of restaurants with all kinds of different cuisine. The historical parts of London just blows you away and worth investigating.

London (for that matter Europe) is pretty costly, esp when one is travelling from South Asian countries. London compares to Old MUMBAI except that London is ver clean, well manatined and people have GOOD civic sense. Weather is cool and comfortable till upto Sep end. Some good spots to visit. Oxford street is good for shopping. We didnot have a great experience at Madam Tussads - all the dummies were dummies, far from real celeberities!

London has little of interest. we have been a few times so perhaps we are a bit jaded. But I would recommend country UK. We toured the Pennines, Cornwall and the Jurassic Beaches and would highly recommend them all. We also discovered new places like the New Forest which delighted us. We could live in all of these places. Everywhere but London itself which was hard work.

Stayed at a few Z hotels in the past and this one is the best. I booked a window option but my advice would be don’t bother, just book the cheaper non window option. The view is of the fire escape. Shower pressure amazing. Huge TV. Very friendly staff. Felt very safe here and would stay again. Z hotel offer a great concept. Small modern soundproof rooms at a very affordable price in prime London locations.

It is one of the cheapest available hotels near London, and it was renovated recently. There are plenty of food stores and restaurants nearby and it's near (10min) from a train station (Jubilee line) that takes you to the city center.
