The complete wall of Derry was really good lots of information and you could have a guided tour. The people were very friendly including out host he told us the best places to go and the breakfast was perfect.
Make sure to book a taxi tour in the Derry information center. Vincent, with Foyle Taxi Service was an amazing tour guide- he was born and raised in Derry and had such insight and took us all around Derry! The City is easy to get around by foot and between walking and the taxi tour - we saw Derry!
Lively city, pleasant parks and open spaces, plenty of culture and history. Take a walk round the city walls which has lots of information boards to help if you don't take a guided tour, which will be more amusing. Didn't find any dog friendly pubs which allowed dogs inside so it's not like mainland britain
Derry was a great city to visit. The walls and a guided walk of the Bogside Murals highly recommended. The city could do with a little more recognition of the contribution made to popular culture by The Undertones.
Derry has lots of great restaurants and bars with very friendly people. There is always something happening in terms of festival, show etc and it has a unique and varied history. Great shopping too! Definitely worth a long weekend.
The people of Derry are the soundest, kindest, friendliest you will find in Ireland. The Scullery Cafe was the best place for breakfast and lunch with amazing beverages. We did the self guided walking tours which were reasonably priced and educational. Everything was close by. Jazz House was exceptional for accommodation, be aware of the big hill though. Peadar ODonnells pub had fantastic live Irish tunes and Irish dancing which we were very impressed with as Irish people ourselves.
Derry Londonderry
I would normally stay in hotels as I don't really like B&B 's because you are in people's houses & are worried about making noise etc, but with this Garden Room you are out on your own not having to bother anyone. My daughter & I had a great stay , location good not too far from city centre, taxi only £4, which we only used at night to go into centre fof a drink. Had an excellent meal @ Fitzroys Restaurant, would definitely recommend.., although book in advance before you go.
Derry Londonderry
The host Ciaŕan was great craic, a great storyteller and also made a class breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was better than anything I've had in any hotel. If you are ever visiting the North West of Ireland I would highly highly recommend staying in Bishops Gate B&B, it is incredible value for money.
Derry Londonderry
Everything about this B&B is phenomenal! Eilish is a fantastic host, from arrival to recommendations to do in Derry. The house itself is massive with an amazing view of the city centre. The room was spacious and clean and the en suite has a shower with hotel amenities. We will definitely come back to stay with them again.

The check-in was great and easy (information was provided over Mail), the rooms are very nice (comfortable bed), tidy and super modern (there's a tablet in every room with which you can contact the staff any time) and although located a little out of town you're in the heart of Londonderry within 10 minutes (by car).
Derry Londonderry
The apartment was perfect and the decor made it feel like an expensive boutique hotel. The location was so easy to get to from the bus station or anywhere in the city centre. And the added touch of communication from the host to know where to go and recommendations gave our stay the personal touch which was appreciated.
The hotel was spacious for the three travelers we had including the bathroom which was a plus. The bar area had a great atmosphere with friendly staff and a good menu. We wish we would have stayed there all night! Front desk staff were friendly and had good recommendations for our interests in the city.

Hotel location was excellent, car park right beside hotel-Nightly rate of £12. The hotel really got into the Halloween spirit and staff where very good with giving recommendations. Breakfast was self service and plenty of selection.
Staff were very friendly & accommodating, great location for our needs. The bed in our room was very comfortable, one of the best nights sleep we’ve had at a hotel.

It’s like a small very classy hotel.
Derry Londonderry
Every thing. Serendipity is a compact place converted from 2 terraced houses; the bedrooms, bathrooms stairs, are compact, with super comfortable beds. What is not compact is the heart, the welcome and the passion with which the place is managed and run. And the banter is equally wonderful. I would go no where else in Derry but Serendipity. It's just a wonderful, human, friendly place, the best. Enjoy.
We found the staff to be very helpful and efficient and all to be of a high standard.
