Croft Cottage is simply amazing. Exceptionally clean and very cosy with fantastic decor and a brilliant location. Hosts were very communicative and it was lovely to find milk, eggs and fresh cut flowers waiting for us. Long Marton is a lovely village and a meal at the Mason's Arms (20 yards down the road is an absolute must!

The food was excellent and the bed and bath exceptional. The staff was attentive and very helpful with our special needs as we had to stay most of our checkout day waiting for a rental car. The public areas were numerous, spacious and comfortable and all with a fantastic view of Appleby-In-Westmorland in the land below.

A lovely comfortable pod in a great location . We were on-a bicycle tour and we appreciated the extra comfort it provided . Long Marton is a beautiful village in a wonderful area of Cumbria with characterful cottages and a pub . Appleby is close by too . Another town with character and history worth a visit, with lots of shops for everything you might need .

First experience of staying in a pod! Posh camping!

First experience of staying in a pod! Posh camping! Very cosy and comfortable. Beautiful location. Ate outside in the evening, luckily it was fine and dry. About a mile outside of the village. Very quiet, perfect spot to rest and relax after a day's walking. Carole very welcoming and helpful.
