Hotel in Lulworth Cove
Nestled in the quiet village of West Lulworth, Limestone Hotel is a stylish country house with free parking, a restaurant, and easy access to both Dorset countryside and the Jurassic coastline. My partner and I stayed at the Limestone for a one-night stopover in Lulworth Cove. It's location is perfect, with views over the small village and just a short walk to the sea and the coast path - great for making the journey to Durdle Door. We had a fantastic time exploring the area and enjoyed a delicious dinner in the restaurant. Limestone was everything we look for in a good hotel - clean, comfortable, and welcoming, with great food and friendly staff. Would happily return.

The setting is beautiful but stay somewhere else and drive in for the day there are only three places to stay and they are all very expensive for what you get, £180 per night is over the top its a very basic room and the breakfast is dreadful.
Everything was beautiful if you’re going make sure you book dinner or food in the restaurants it’s gets very busy. A beautiful area that’s so picturesque take your camera and see it all. Take a picnic and make a day of it, west Lulworth is just a 10 minute walk away if you need anything you can’t get in Lulworth cove. We ate in Lulworth cove inn which was lovely.
Parking in a huge field, the hotel give you a Parking pass for 24hrs…but we still got a Ticket!!! Parking run by an outside company so be careful. Lulworth Cove is beautiful, worth a visit, but get there early. The BEST ice creams from little kiosk just before the beach.
Picturesque walk to Durdle door (30 minutes from lulworth cove car park) but it’s a very steep walk and would be difficult in wet weather the ground would be slippy! If you have the energy walk up the next cliff (even steeper) for breathtaking views over lulworth In the opposite direction from lulworth cove is the fossil forest. Not such a tough walk but a different experience. Good views of the cove walking back down Food at lulworth lodge and limestone hotel (fancier) was really good If you have time take a day trip to Studland and walk out to old harry rocks (30min walk each way) the beach in Studland is also beautiful and the pig on the beach hotel has lovely gardens with good food and drink. Stop off in Corfe castle on the way - walk up to the very top of the hill next to the castle for the best views Of the castle
Well priced micro-hotel in a fantastic location. Had dinner here on the first night which was fairly priced and tasty! Room was on the small size but was great for a long weekend break. Durdle door and bats head in walking distance although up a gradual incline (walking boots/trainers advised). We drove over to Poole, Corfe and Bournmouth too. Clean rooms with special touches (cookies, water bottles and lovely bathroom minature products).
We were there on a very wet and windy morning so it wasn't the best time to enjoy the views. But it seemed the perfect place for a weekend getaway and to enjoy some truly stunning coastal walks on a warmer day. We bought a bottle of spiced rum and locally produced honey from the visitor centre-a bit pricy but delicious :-) The food at Lulworth Cove Inn was also pretty decent. I got a 'healthy' veggie dinner which is more than one can hope for in a country pub!
Lulworth Cove
We had an absolutely fabulous time in this lovely B&B, it's a perfect location to explore a stunning part of Dorset from - easy to access by bus from nearby towns (we took the train to and from Wool), Lulworth Cove is a 10 minute walk, Durdle Door is another 30 mins from there. Room was spacious, bright and very comfy, breakfast was fabulous as well, we could choose from different options.
Room was spotless, view from Room 'Lookout' was beautiful - Dorset countryside. Breakfast and dinner was great. Short walk down to the Cove. Parking no issue as there is a space for every room.
Lulworth Cove
The inn had a nice charm and the food was quite nice. The room was also quite spacious.
