This boutique hotel offers spacious rooms, free Wi-Fi and free parking.... Excellent staff and management. A hotel that really deserves its 4 star rating. Dinner from a la carte menu tasted extremely good and served with attention to detail. Breakfast was excellent. Room and bathroom lovely and big. Heavenly bed. Would definitely return.

This privately owned hotel has a great location, just off the main street in the center of the village of Lyndhurst, a short walk from the shops, restaurants and pubs. We had a great staff, staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really nice each morning and we got good tips on where to go for dinner. So all in all we had a very good week long stay!

Hotel in Lyndhurst
Ideally located in the New Forest, close to the small town of Lyndhurst, this friendly hotel is set back from the road and offers quality accommodations at affordable prices. The receptionist was welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. I moved to this hotel after a disappointing night at the White Rabbit Hotel, the mattress was very old and extremely uncomfortable and I managed to sleep for about four hours due to this. I would strongly recommend the Ormonde House Hotel. I feel it deserves more than 3 stars.

Located in Lyndhurst, Bramble Hill Hotel has a fitness center, bar, garden, and free WiFi. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. We left the hotel a few hours ago and if anyone visiting spots fingernail scrapes on the porch entrance, that was where I had to pry my wife away and drag her to the car. An absolutely wonderful stay. In a hotel with two hundred years of history and charm. The whole experience made exceptional by Alan, the proprietor. An amazing man who now offers a bed and breakfast service for a small number of rooms in this once 56 room hotel. The feeling of a once grand house now being carefully managed by a man who loves being here and loves what he does is everywhere. Set your expectations right: Alan offers a two star service because he chooses to, but make no mistake, he is a 5 star man. You are going to read some mixed and negative reviews about this hotel, as well as some glowing ones. It seems like the hotel has stood still for a hundred years, this will make lovers of modern clinical hotels cringe. It will make those of us who love to be surrounded by that kind of history glow and smile from ear to ear. Alan is a great, kind, thoughtful man who exudes care and respect and the more you appreciate that, the more of it you see. If however, you’re a pretentious ignorant self important knob, you may well get told so to your face. I know for a fact that one review hear from someone who said “they would never go back“ is certainly true, because Alan threw them out and told them not to bother returning. A brave man in a day and age where reviews can destroy your reputation to treat people how they deserve to be treated. Treat the man with respect, you will get it back in spades. Show yourself to be an overbearing idiot and don’t expect to have someone letting you get away with it here. We will be back soon, no doubt again and again. This is the sort of gem you get to find once and consider yourself lucky if you get to go back.

Very quaint and the shops and eateries are a plenty. Lyndhurst is central to walks and beautiful scenery. Everything is on the doorstep don’t actually need a car. Enzo’s the Italian restaurant is a must it had a great menu and ambience.
Beautiful ,place to stay , great walks ( ponies ,cows Deer ) Great High Street ,with lovely shops ,plenty of pubs, serving great foods as well as well of Restaurants . Nice people watching @ the Ferrari Garage ,taking pics of themselves by the cars 😁 Surfing Moo Moo , by far was the best place for us to eat ,Fantastic Food , Atmosphere &Ambience .Railway man great lunches Easy to get around ,hire bikes
A lovely little village, lots of interesting shops. No shortage of places to eat or drink. Car park available, but free parking was available in the park within walking distance. The one-way system was busy and there was often heavy traffic to get into the village, a 20 minute wait on one occasion.
Price of drinks and food in pubs and restaurants in town are ridiculous. paid an average of £5-6 for a pint of lager, wherever we went. Spirits with a mixer around the same price. Must be very expensive for families. Food in general was of poor quality in pubs and restaurants we visited with the emphasis on packing customers in and getting them out as quick as possible. very little emphasis on quality
Nice cosy village with green picturesque countryside's. You don't need to drive a lot to find yourself in a very nice forest area or nice landscaped meadows with stunning views around - it is just around the corner.
An unsurprising mid forest town. High street had a surprising number of good looking resturantsvand bars. Lyndhurst is blighted by being a thoroughfare for too much traffic. A bypass wpuld transform it into A really nice place where you could appreciate the history instead of being frustrated by continuous traffic jams.
Lyndhurst
The hotel was really easily to locate and is well positioned just outside the centre of Lyndhurst and opposite some great walks. The owner is extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. she took the time to suggest some great walks and made my stay very comfortable. I was actually the only guest in the hotel due to a family's cancellation so it was eerily quiet, but very relaxing.

Close proximity to Lyndhurst shops/restaurants and open forest to explore. Our room (no. 2) was nicely decorated/furnished and extremely clean with a nice view from the windows. There was also a small fridge stocked with well priced drinks & snacks. Hosts were v welcoming and friendly (incl. Archie the dog!) and breakfast was v tasty, well presented and plenty of choice.
This is a hotel that could clearly do with some investment in refurbishment, but it was made pleasant by the friendliness and attitude of the staff, as well as a very good location, just outside the centre of Lyndhurst but in reasonable walking distance.
Lyndhurst
Wonderful location for easy access into Lyndhurst. New Forest literally on the doorstep giving easy access to lots of different walks and cycle rides. Lovely room, lots of unexpected daily treats left in room, good quality breakfast. Friendly hosts.
The room was in the annexe but was lovely and spacious. The hotel staff were very kind and although we arrived later than we wished for the wedding they were helpful in serving our booking quickly for our convenience
Located near town, you can walk to get groceries, plenty of restaurants and local shops. Near Paultons Park, short drive down the road. The hotel itself has a country charm and is very welcoming.

Great choice for breakfast, and always cheerful and helpful staff at reception and in the hotel café. The veranda was very comfortable and garden was great. They also had plants for sale.

Comfortable hotel at the top end of town in Lyndhurst with easy access to local amenities and the New Forest. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and the staff were very helpful
Location is excellent. Hotel has friendly staff & tasty breakfast, enough choices. 2 minute walk in Lyndhurst and few minutes drive and you’re in the country side.
Good, clean and tidy hotel. Nice bar area and pool and in a great location. Made for a lovely weekend getaway and very easy to get to from the motorway.

Lyndhurst
Perfect location! 2 mins walk to the high street and the new forest greenery & horses. The Thai Forest was lovely for dinner. Cottage very lovely and bigger than imagined. Everything was catered for. It was very clean and homely. Lovely touch arriving to a welcome card and bottle of wine and a bowl of fruit.
