This boutique hotel offers spacious rooms, free Wi-Fi and free parking.... The Crown Manor House Hotel in Lyndhurst is a beautiful, historic building on the high street. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the dinner we had in the restaurant was delicious. Buffet breakfasts were quite good and had lots of options (full english, toast, yogurt, cereals, juice). We had to check out early and there was no problem getting some food in the morning. The spaces in the hotel are beautiful and gorgeously furnished with antiques. Our room was very comfortable and clean, and we had a view of the high street and church. I highly recommend going to the Fox & Hounds pub down the street for food and drinks during your stay, too. This hotel was a great base to explore New Forest from, and I would absolutely stay again.

a very nice little town with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. We ate at the Imperial Chinese. Extensive menu and very authentic chinese cuisine. Could not fault it we cleared our plates. Handy Tesco Express on the main street and a Co-Op opposite it so handy to get essential supplies. Some lovely craft shops also. Very dog friendly.
lyndhurst is a lovely place to stay lots of easy walking also central for other parts of the forest it also has a variety of good eating places and shops its easy to get to off the motor way the people are very friendly .the crown manor hotel was .not to the standard we expected.
Busy little village with a continual flow of traffic around the one way system .. an excellent indian meal in the passage of India , very interesting antique shop on the junction… could even buy a Ferrari if you wanted at the dealership in the Main Street
Great point for visiting surrounding areas. Lyndhurst had plenty activity in comparison to surrounding villages (good choice of restaurants, a mini museum and you can do a very very very long walk around the village)...the standard of the cafe/lunch places not great but the evening restaurants were better...., good resourceful high street. the Thai restaurant was exceptional.
The staff were all great, public rooms are lovely, gives a real sense of history and lots of cosy areas to sit in. The location is beautiful and I'd like to return in the summer when the garden is in flower. Due to one of our grandsons testing covid positive they could not join us, the hotel have generously offered us a voucher to use in the next 12 months to cover the cost of the non refundable family room. We're look forward to visiting Bartley Lodge again. Enjoyed being met on arrival by a New Forest pony at our car window.

The hotel was really easily to locate and is well positioned just outside the centre of Lyndhurst and opposite some great walks. The owner is extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. she took the time to suggest some great walks and made my stay very comfortable. I was actually the only guest in the hotel due to a family's cancellation so it was eerily quiet, but very relaxing.
The hotel staff were very welcoming and remembered that my partner wanted to watch F1 (mentioned when we booked in ) and put it in for him on the bar TV. Room was lovely and clean and brilliant value for money. Easy to walk into Lyndhurst and a big car park and restaurant. Excellent stay
