The peace and quiet, the views, how relaxing it was. Great location and close to many things to do. I had mixed weather, 1 glorious day with a fabulous blue sky and 1 very misty day but it was still lovely. The sounds of the wildlife and watching the rabbits run around freely offered free entertainment. Highly recommend a stay here.

Distant Lights is a beautiful, roomy and comfortable apartment right off the South West Coast Path, which was great for us as walkers. Pendeen also has a lovely old historic pub just 1/2 mile from Distant Lights called Trewellard Arms, which shouldn't be missed. Our hosts were very kind and helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Clare and Kev are wonderful hosts, very warm, friendly and welcoming, they couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The room was spacious and very pretty with snacks, tea and coffee provided along with a scrumptious full Cornwall breakfast lovingly prepared by Kev each morning. Penzance train station is about a 10 minute walk and there’s a bus stop 3 minutes away which travels to most tourists attractions for only 5 pounds per day. I would definitely recommend Bay Lodge and are thankful to Clare and Kev for being such fabulous hosts.

The property was to a high standard and was very clean. It was spacious and had everything we needed for our three night stay. It’s about a 20 min walk into the town up a steep hill but we didn’t have a problem with this and there are buses and taxis available. Communication with the owner Anne was great and I would definitely recommend the apartment.

“I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chyreen@Marazion! Everything was perfect, from the warm Cornish Cream tea waiting for us to the beautiful, self-contained Lookout with its fully equipped kitchen and private garden.     Maldon is a small quiet rural village a few miles north of Penzance. There is a bus service, but really you need a car. There is parking at the cottage. Do find time to visit the village church. The owner is very helpful and lives opposite should there be a problem. The cottage leads onto a well-kept garden area, which is for your use. The cottage is beautifully decorated and furnished. The bed is especially comfortable! It is in a good position to visit west Cornwall. We even went as far as the Eden Project within an hour.

    Lovely, authentic family-run pub and guest rooms. Cosy and comfortable in a quiet, rural location with easily accessible free parking. Tracey is a lovely and very friendly host - the ideal kind of person to run such a place, and she really cares about looking after her guests and other customers. Fab breakfast recommended too!

    breakfast was very good all fresh and great coffee, the rooms where great with your own shower as well, plenty of car parking we had our own key and a code to side of building to come and go. The locals where all great too made us welcome and we had evening meal as well nice and fresh and very tasty, nice to have a bar with plenty of great beers and soft drinks or coffee for partner.
