Just off junction 9 of the M4 motorway, The Holiday Inn Maidenhead Windsor is one mile from Maidenhead Train Station. The leisure centre features a pool, sauna and gymnasium. Bed was really comfortable. The staff were excellent - I walk with crutches so requested a room either on the ground floor or near a lift but they actually allocated me a Disabled Room which was brilliant. The breakfasts were fantastic - catered for every taste. Would definitely stay here again
Taplow House Hotel & Restaurant is an elegant hotel close to Windsor and 25 minutes' drive from Heathrow Airport. It is set in 6 acres of grounds and has an on-site restaurant. The staff are lovely here and can’t do enough for you! The hotel is beautiful and I always have a nice room. Would thoroughly recommend!

This warm, friendly hotel on the River Thames has superb river views, a popular bar, great service and a new restaurant: Trevi Ristorante Italiano. The breakfast facilities, food & staff were great. As was the view from our third floor room.
Individually designed and elegantly furnished, every room and suite at Fredrick’s has been conceived to provide exceptional standards of comfort. the staff were amazing! Both Rachael and Atlanta were extremely helpful in organising Taxis several weeks before our arrival. There is a real 'can do' willingness throughout the hotel and we were very impressed with the services we were offered.

We went to bray which has all Hestons wonderful restaurants we’ve eaten in the hinds head and the fat duck both wonderful. Not far away is Windsor which is beautiful with the castle river and walks.
A small town which is friendly. Eating out was excellent. Chutney Jacks excellent Indian restaurant and Wetherspoon’s The Bear very good quality food at low prices. Good base for hopping on a train to visit other places, eg Windsor. Nice area for walks especially along river.
we didn't see much of the town but what we saw was great. visited relatives who picked us up from our hotel. lovely walks nearby and good pubs and cafes. we walked along the river which was very pleasant.visited Windsor also. Wd had a meal at the Jolly Farmer. excellent. staff really friendly and welcoming.
Visiting family so it was nice to catch up. Terrible accommodation, very disappointing. Rude host, dirty apartment, including dirty bed linen. Dripping toilet. Cooker not working. Booked for 6 people but only set up for 4. Had to buy linen and glasses!
The proximity to the region where awesome restaurants and other villages open up all kinds of options to experience. Love the vibe. Low key relaxed walking distances to pubs and a little further to Bray home to Hinds Head where we enjoyed a Michelin star dinner. The trails along the Thames are loaded with beautiful flowers and river boats and rowers !!! Great time!!
Good shops and bars etc but the highlight was the river Thames and walking along it. Cliveden is a shirt drive away as is henley on Thames. Feathers a great pub in taplo. Enjoyed ice cream along the river and locks

Very friendly staff . Beautiful setting We had dinner at the hotel which went a bit wrong as they were very busy and I was told the main chef had called in sick But the way the restaurant manager handled the situation was excellent he was very polite and friendly in the end me and my wife came out of the restaurant having had a great night I also have a fiver bet with the manager that if England meet Portugal in the world cup England will win

Had room 230 which was quiet at the back of the Inn. We can see why this Inn is popular with families as very easy to get to Legoland by car & rail into London(fifteen minute walk down the road to Maidenhead station). Note: during weekends & school holidays go to breakfast early if on own or a couple as gets very busy around 8-8.30am.

My family and I (Wife , 3 boys 3,9 and 12 and I) stayed here for our Lego land and London excursion weekend. Stayed in a lovely cottage number 2 to be precise. Very spacious home away from home not too far from the centre of London and only 9 miles from Legoland. It really is picturesque with large open spaces with football goals, zip wire, trampolines and a large pool. Cottages are part of a barn conversion and are beautifully done. Had a lovely voicemail from owner day before leaving and good advice on routes and attractions whilst we were there. Nothing negative to say about the place or the owner. Fantastic and we will definitely be returning. At £145 per night you get a lot for your money comparatively speaking you could find cheaper but won’t get anywhere near the quality at this price anywhere else. Thanks and see you again soon.More

The hostess was so welcoming. She made me a cup of tea when I arrived. And the breakfast was to rival anything that the royal family might eat. Home-made muesli was delicious. There was nothing that I could possibly have needed that was not supplied at sunny cottage
