Spent 2 days in Manchester over a weekend. Great city to visit with friends for good food and beer. Did a craft beer walking tour which I would recommend, as well as a free walking tour on the saturday to get a better understanding of the city
I'm a city lover and I love London, but after visiting Manchester I realised that in London I'm paying double the price for half the quality. The food was amazing and cheap, the public transport is easy and cheap, everybody was so friendly and helpful, the city is rich with beautiful buildings, culture and history
We loved the energy of Manchester — alternative, youthful, and creative. Also had friendly/chill vibe. We kept to just the downtown area, within walking distance to all our destinations, so can only speak to that part of the city.
I had an amazing time except the intentions of a certain hotel who sets out to con guests, I will put an end to this manner as my first write up comes out next week to warn the public and we will see then the status?
It was nice to shop there and to go out to eat. Lots of fun bars and restaurants. We went to Peaky Blinders and Revolucion De Cuba. Recommend them both. Didn't see much of the city unfortunately since the trip was so short.
Great city lots of different cultural bars and restaurants and shops a place if you can't find what your looking for then it doesn't exist definitely a place you have to visit more than once to appreciate it
Beautiful, clean, modern, contemporary well thought out room with excellent views of Old Trafford, Manchester City Centre and Peak District. Bed was super comfortable with USB / power sockets either side. Lots of storage and desk space. TV was great too. Breakfast very good, staff friendly and attentive. I stay in Manchester a lot and this hotel is excellent value for money and I will definitely say this is the best non spa hotel in Manchester.
Preston and Tracey in the breakfast room were brilliant, pleasant, and helpful. They organised our vegan breakfast from the kitchen, so we were able to have sausauges, cheez, green salad, baked beans, porridge, and a jug of soya milk. Also, we thought the weather theme of the hotel was fun and enchanting. The hotel itself was central to Manchester. It was good to have a kettle in the room.
the young gentleman on reception that checked us in was very friendly polite and professional we didn't get his name but thank you for the service you are a credit to the company the room was perfectly fine for our stay as we know this hotel and stay every time we go to Manchester the location is perfect for the city centre and central to all Manchester has to offer
Location was about 8 mins walk from the Manchester Picadilly Station. The hotel is generally like 10mins walk from the Manchester city centre. Hotel has a lovely restaurant with garden. Food was delicious and good value for money. Staff were very nice and ready to assist.
The room was exactly what I needed for wandering around Manchester. Not too many bells and whistles, but it was clean and comfortable, exactly what a hotel needs to be. Staff were friendly and the self-serve breakfast was excellent once I worked out where the plates were!
Free parking on site which was a bonus, check in easy, room great size and incredibly quiet (especially considering the location near city centre Manchester), breakfast was fantastic and one of the best we've had in a hotel for a while.
Salford, Manchester
The room was spacious and clean. The hotel is super well located in Manchester. A vast number of shops (high end + retail) and restaurants were walking distance (2 - 5 minutes). Old Trafford was approximately 45 - 60 minutes walk.
The rooms were well furnished and the location of the hotel is great for doing some shopping and eating in the heart of Manchester as everything is less than a 20min walk away.
Manchester
I liked the hotel nice and clean and Central to Manchester city centre and right in the heart of Manchesters gay village the staff went out of there way to make you welcome
Great, central location that is handy for everywhere in Manchester City centre. The hotel itself is smartly presented. The bedroom was large, HUGE bed and great air con!
