Manchester is a very nice and diverse city. The city is vibrant beautiful places to see good restaurants and nice hotels but please STAY AWAY FROM THE MERCHANTS HOTEL. 1355 people rated it below the expected level. THE HOTEL ROOMS ARE NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.
Enjoyed walking around the university. Delicious pub across the street from the hotel. Name: Revolution. Easy to get around. We walked everywhere. Hotel had umbrellas we could use ! The Royal Exchange Theatre was unbelievable. Saw a wonderful and very intense production, and I do mean INTENSE! Called "Parliament Square ". Whew!
Town centre was amazing lots to do and see fantastic for shopping stores such as Selfridges, Harvey Nicks and all the designer shops lovely places to eat and drink. Uber taxi's very fair in pricing and lovely polite drivers.
Great City- my granddaughtr is due to start Uni in Sept Loved The Albert Schloss cocktail hour vibe / Midland Hotel cocktails -/ TurtleBay to eat / Westherspoons breakfast We used the Free Bus to get around - was Brilliant Vibrant City- we loved it !!
Manchester is a very livable city, and it is clearly the main city in the northern part of England. I love shopping at Arndale and it is full of shops and restaurants of every type. There is a mix of modern architecture and the typical neogothic architecture, for example, the John Ryland Library, or the Cathedral. As a football fan, I love Manchester for being the home of two of the world-famous best soccer teams, United and City, and there is also a museum celebrating this strong connection to the sport.
The staff wasn’t no help at all The electric doors what goes around It stop and would go around and the staff was just looking at me and I had a pram with a baby in it because I couldn’t open the door that I was meant to go in with a pram and the staff was still looking at me and no help
This is a new hotel, only opened less than a year ago. Set in the Northern Quarter is ideal to get into Manchester City Centre. The facilities in the room are new and all were on working order (toaster, fridge, hair dryer, dish washer, washing machine can be paid by card). There is no parking on site, there are public parking around, The staff are excellent, always asking how we are and prompt during breakfast and any interaction. Breakfast is additional 8.50£ pp. Worth it for the sausage/bacon buttie and not make your room smell.
Everything about our stay at Qbic Manchester was great. We booked here because they are eco conscious hotels but as well as that the hotel was stylish, comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in a 'fancy room' and we weren't disappointed. Great size, comfy bed and lovely view over Manchester. The location of the hotel was great as it was so close to the city centre and in walking distance to the main stations. Great breakfast and excellent service.
the hotel was great. super friendly staff and very modern and stylish rooms. The location of this hotel is also exceptional, positioned directly opposite picadilly station meant it was so easy on departure and arrival but also was great for all the amenities such as shops and restaurants so close by. its also no more than a 5-10 minute walk from the city centre making it perfect for a weekend break in Manchester. We loved it so much we've booked to stay again in a few months time.
Manchester
Native Manchester is a former cotton warehouse turned into a hotel so the architecture was both unusual and stunning. The room was aesthetically beautiful with lots of brick and wide windows and modern furniture. It was very clean and had a small kitchen. Love that outlets were close to the bed. Room was very well thought out. Also, they were able to store our luggage prior to check-in. Staff was very helpful. This was a lovely place to stay.
The location of the Maldron Hotel Manchester City Centre was perfect for the event I was attending. Right in the middle of the action. The reception staff were welcoming and friendly, despite also having to deal with a party of visitors whose rooms weren't ready yet. The room was comfortable, quiet, and a very pleasant temperature. I was really impressed with the whole experience.
Great hotel with a car park attached which was very convenient given the proximity to Manchester - most hotels don’t have car parks in the city centre. Booked a room with no windows (best value) but when we checked in they had put us in a large room with windows. Really clean and comfortable, gorgeous bathroom, great value for money. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
This is a fabulous hotel, with character, style, an excellent bar and great staff. We stayed here as a family of 4 for a couple nights while visiting Manchester and loved it. Our room was massive and very comfortable and our kids loved the "safe room" that was on our floor (a room full of antique safes). We will stay here again.
Great location at the heart of Manchester. The hotel room was spacious and clean, with an excellent bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the room came with good, helpful amenities such as robe, slippers and products. Unlike some hotels an iron and ironing board were provided without having to ask, so that was a time saver.
The price of the property was amazing for a hotel so central to Manchester city centre as most accommodation can be very very expensive! It was literally a 5-10 minute walk from Picadilly and not far at all to our venue for our night out
funky new hotel in the heart of Manchester. having spent lots of time in Manhattan, I could easily have forgotten that I wasn’t in the big apple. great ambiance in the bar & restaurant, with a DJ playing great tunes
Very clean, warm and super location. I would definitely be back. Staff were very friendly and were keen to help us find our way around Manchester. Nice budget range hotel for a group of pals to explore Manchester.
The staff all seemed very happy and greeted with a bright smile. The location of this hotel was in a perfect spot with Manchester Piccadilly only being a 10 minute walk away and the city centre only being 15 minutes.
amazing hotel with friendly stuff , the location was so good specially for me coming to Manchester Marathon the Old Trafford was 14min walking and there is a tram station 2min walking away from the hotel
The location was great easy enough to access anywhere in Manchester City centre. The spa was brilliant and the staff were very helpful. Beautiful hotel rooms.
Brand new hotel staff really welcoming and helpful (smiley too 🙂) Very well situated : in the heart of Manchester city center nevertheless very quiet
The location of the hotel was very good for access to Manchester City Centre and convenient for all transport, it was very clean and modern.
Great location in Manchester city centre. Very easy check-in and check-out. Clean and comfortable room and bathroom. Nice bar in the hotel.
The hotel room was cheap and enough just for one night. It was very central to Manchester City centre
Best Hotel in Manchester! There are no comparisons.
We loved every moment of our stay at the Kingstreet. From the personal and helpful welcome because we needed to check in early. The simple quality of the rooms, the cleanness, the personalized help from staff at every point. We will be coming back so many times and recommending this hotel to all who want a personalized and wonderful stay in the heart of Manchester
