Motel One Manchester-Piccadilly, hotel in Manchester

Motel One Manchester-Piccadilly is located a 5-minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly train station, offering a central-city location, free WiFi and use of on-site bar One Lounge.

The Motel One chain are a very good value for money option. The Piccadilly option is on par with the rest. Location is very good literally across the road from Piccadilly station and close to all shops/bars ect. Breakfast, continental, was good and value for money. My real gripe with the chain is small things such as no fridge in the rooms. Apart from that all good

Visited the Xmas markets, they were very cute and it was nice at night time. They’re spread all over the city so you will need to do a bit of walking but i enjoyed it. I absolutely love visiting afflecks while I’m in Manchester. It’s such a cool, quirky little shop. So many food options in the city! If you love shopping then it’s definitely a place for you. Downside is a lot of rude people but I guess you get that in most big cities.

    Never been to Manchester before.

Never been to Manchester before. Pleasantly surprised in more ways than one. People are very friendly, in hotels, restaurants, shops and in the streets! Restaurants are reasonably cheap. The centre of town is generally well kept. The architecture is beautiful - and it is really pleasant to go for walks around the town centre and the canals.

Was pleasantly surprised with this hotel, it shocked us how nice it was for such a cheap price. We paid £70 for the city view room and wasn’t disappointed for our first trip to Manchester. The hotel itself is so nice, clean and the staff were pleasant. I was able to check in early to decorate the hotel room for my partners birthday, staff were helpful with this. We will be staying here again when we visit next time! So close to the city centre, easy to find and the over night parking is only a 5 minute walk away. Very convenient hotel.

Great staff attitude, friendly and there to help. I booked a twin which wasn’t guaranteed but reception rang housekeeping on arrival and our bed was split and re-made straight away. City centre hotel and we didn’t experience any noise from traffic and trams. Also a stand to hire umbrellas which is a brilliant thought in Manchester!
