Manchester is a vibrant City, but I only ever go on business, which means I haven't visited any tourist attractions, but many of the conference facilities, bars and restaurants. I would like to go back as a tourist and experience the rest of the city.

We had a great evening at the Christian Conference at the Pendulum Hotel, However the World of Manchester was completely contrasting to what we experienced earlier in the evening. We took a quick Trip to McDonalds before deciding to drive home as there's no place like home-Right? 🙂 Ive heard from 2 Friends who said Manacunians 'dont like big cars', well suffice to say when we departed from the motorway up North we were met rudely with lads swearing at us+ then later following us AND one of their Mates cars overtook us, parked- but we could get out + 'danced in a swaying fashion' in FRONT of my car. We werent having any of it+ had no choice but to call Police. Went to Mum's nearby-she was woken in the night- bless her! +Police told the Lads to go then was all Dealt with. We were NOT impressed with the way the Police didnt question the lads+ find out in depth what they were trying to do. Yet they protected US, which was satisfactory. I dont think this has any relation to Manchester but certainly puts some 'idea' of a travelling back from the City poor.

The rooms are clean and bed was comfortable, nice size bathroom towels. Check cups in bedroom before using ours not clean. Breakfast was shocking, no hot food available, advised still in the oven cooking, no orange juice, very little fresh fruit.

Kevin, the Manager was very helpful and friendly with a cheery disposition. We had some great conversation with him regarding our shared passion for travel. Piccadilli Central Hotel has a nice personal feel which comes as a refreshing change when compared with the more corporate establishments that abound in Manchester City centre. You are really treated as a genuine guest here. Rooms are well decorated and offer outstanding value for money compared to other establishments nearby. Thank you, Kevin from Janet and Roy.

A beautiful new hotel in an excellent location. Only a 10-minute walk to Manchester United's famous Old Trafford stadium. Just 10 minutes by taxi to the city centre with its many restaurants and pubs. The cricket stadium is right next to the hotel.
