Manchester is changing fast. Sometimes for the better, but it is in danger of becoming a clone of London with inflated prices and pretentious branding. If you intend to visit, do so soon before it loses its North West uniqueness.
We loved the city. It has a lot to offer. It appeared to be a vibrant, interesting and historic place. We were impressed by the cultural places such as art gallery, museums. The tourist bus help us to be more familiar with what was where. We ate in a couple of very good Italian restaurants (one was the Donmarco, but can't remember the name of the other one). We really enjoyed the Old Wellington pub: beautiful and lovely atmosphere. The Museum of Science and Industry was brilliant. We came away with a feeling that the people of Manchester were very welcoming an also very friendly towards us.
Stayed in ROOM 205! July 2023 Lovely Location! Nice Reception/Entrance Right in the heart of it all!! Shame we couldn’t see any of it despite having windows looking out over it all…this was due to the windows being SO Dirty!! Other surrounding Hotel’s windows seemed much cleaner!! The Staff were very welcoming and Breakfast/Dining Room/Bar was lovely!! But the Hotel Bed was very uncomfortable.. Old Mattress!!🫤😣 They need to change it as it sinks in the Centre!! Mattress Protector not adequate as it came off during the night. Bed not made right!
Piccadilly is amazing for shops and entertainment. Plenty good quality places to eat and coffee shops. Trams regular and easy to jump on and off to any location throughout Manchester. Love our visits there.
Spent 2 days in Manchester over a weekend. Great city to visit with friends for good food and beer. Did a craft beer walking tour which I would recommend, as well as a free walking tour on the saturday to get a better understanding of the city
I'm a city lover and I love London, but after visiting Manchester I realised that in London I'm paying double the price for half the quality. The food was amazing and cheap, the public transport is easy and cheap, everybody was so friendly and helpful, the city is rich with beautiful buildings, culture and history
The Reception Staff were very welcoming and attentive. The associated Car Parking was organised without any issue. Our Room was very clean and well presented. We needed guidance for our visit to Manchester City Centre and your Receptionist was very helpful regarding the local Trams etc. We also required some additional coffee/etc for the room which was sorted without any bother. Breakfast was superb. We have already recommended the Hotel to our friends.
Manchester
The building is very different from any other type of hotels, the exposed brick work is so cute and makes it feel homely, nice and clean and great facilities, the location is also great it’s right in the middle of Manchester City Centre everything is in a walkable distance and WE LOVE YOU TAYLOR!! He is so fantastic, looked after us so so well, customer service was off the charts, will definitely come back for another stay
Manchester
Staff was super healpful, we arrived after a long trip at 730am and by 9am we've been given the opportunity to check in. Location was SUPERB, Tesco next to the hotel, parking opposite the street, ans Piccadily just 5 mins walk. Arndale mall was located at the end of the street, 3 mins walk, and Shudehill Interchange 5 mins walk. Honestly, could not get a better stay for our short trip in Manchester.
I got into Manchester earlier than my check in time and went to the front desk to ask if I could leave my bag there while I go out and waste time. To my surprise my room was ready and I was able to check in and go to my room. The gentleman who assisted me was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay when I had questions. Checkout was quick and I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.
location couldn’t be better for anything and everything (China Town, Deansgate, Spinningfields etc) concierge staff very helpful & dapper gents reception a joy to deal with the shower is an experience of itself, really fantastic !!! secure access to each floor using key card price was very decent quiet room allocated on request without doubt No.1 in Manchester, this hotel could hold its own in London
Breakfast was good, not the best but perfectly ok and comparable for the price. Location was nice and central and easily accessible from city centre, train station etc. Nice entrance, bar / lounge area. Didn't buy a drink in the hotel so cannot comment on prices. Room was quiet, clean and perfectly good for the price.
The property is clean, well resourced, and in the perfect location for city centre exploring as well as close to trains/tram stations for those wanting to go outside the city. The staff were fantastic and personable. This hotel made my time in Manchester better so I couldn’t recommend them more!
This is my favourite boutique hotel in Manchester City centre! The staff are kind, respectful and knowledgeable, amenities are close-by and the room itself is clean, comfortable and fully stocked with a mini-bar 😉 Thankyou for an incredible stay! I will be back soon and often!
