Britannia Hotel City Centre Manchester 3 stars

Hotel in Manchester City Centre, Manchester

Set in a magnificent Victorian building, Britannia Hotel is just 10 minutes' walk from Manchester Piccadilly Railway Station. With WiFi, the hotel is 1 mile from Manchester Cathedral. The room was quite big with a breathtaking view. I liked the fact that they also put a kettle with English breakfast tea available. The hotel itself was definetely huge and the first thing that strikes your attention when you come in, is the gorgeous chandelier. The facility is absolutely charming and well located ( there are restaurants, bars and other shops all around). The staff was professional and always willing to answer any question.

Motel One Manchester-Piccadilly 3 stars

Hotel in Manchester City Centre, Manchester

Motel One Manchester-Piccadilly is located a 5-minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly train station, offering a central-city location, free WiFi and use of on-site bar One Lounge. It was amazing. The room was extremely clean. The best thing about the place is the staff, extremely friendly and nice and helped me whenever I needed anything. Any issue I had they would be very responding and helpful to the best that they can. I loved this place. It was 30 seconds away from Piccadilly metro station which made it easy to navigate. Directly on the opposite side I had great selection of restaurants and supermarket and I could easily go and get what I want and come back. They also had a great waiting area downstairs for those who want to work or use their laptops with many tables and chairs and also they had on another side a bar for those who want to drink something.

Dash straight into the luxurious Selfridges and Triangle departments stores before checking out the old-English charm of the Shambles.

Manchester wouldn’t be the same without its 2 famous football clubs and fans can go wild at either of the Old Trafford or City of Manchester Stadiums. Music fans will adore the many shows performed at the Manchester Arena, the largest of its type in Europe, and the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra.

The cultural foundations of this predominantly red-brick city are on display at the Manchester Museum and the People’s History Museum. If art is you preference, the extensive pre-Raphaelite collection at the Manchester Art Gallery is a sight to behold.
