Manchester wouldn’t be the same without its 2 famous football clubs and fans can go wild at either of the Old Trafford or City of Manchester Stadiums. Music fans will adore the many shows performed at the Manchester Arena, the largest of its type in Europe, and the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra.

I had an amazing time except the intentions of a certain hotel who sets out to con guests, I will put an end to this manner as my first write up comes out next week to warn the public and we will see then the status?
It was nice to shop there and to go out to eat. Lots of fun bars and restaurants. We went to Peaky Blinders and Revolucion De Cuba. Recommend them both. Didn't see much of the city unfortunately since the trip was so short.
Great city lots of different cultural bars and restaurants and shops a place if you can't find what your looking for then it doesn't exist definitely a place you have to visit more than once to appreciate it
Most of our time there was spent in the media city, visiting the attractions it offers and using the local areas restaurants for eating of which it has many, on our last morning there we drove a short distance to the natural history museum before we headed for home.
I hated it. The no chip and pin no stay policy should have been made clear at booking. I am not a card person. The rest of the world accepts contactless. Only interested in selling parking spaces and not bothered if none available for guests. The room was terrible and I will not be back.
Nightmare.to navigate round without incurring a trafgic fine! Now charging a tourist tax, small At £1 but wow, what a cheek. Bustling though and great balance of architectural.design in sympathy with older buildings.
This is a stunning hotel from the moment you walk through the door. The decor and attention to detail have been excelled and you can tell everything is bespoke. Every little detail has been thought out even down to a glass of champagne while check in is arranged. Its a beautiful space for any interior lover and the furniture and spaces are stunning. The staff here are probably the best I’ve had in any city centre hotel. If you get the chance to stay it’s a must do in Manchester.
Really close to the public transport systems (two tram stops 2 minutes walk) which can be in city centre in 20 minutes - we’ll linked with routes to Old Trafford (both), Etihad, Piccadilly and Airport. I went for a Manchester City match which ended at 21:55 and was I back in the hotel on the other side of the city by 22:25. The tram system is brilliant to get around the whole city. Day pass about £5.
The hotel is about a 20 minute walk into Manchester City Centre. The free parking is a bonus for a city centre hotel. The bathroom was dated but clean. There is shower gel, a hairdryer, tea and coffee making equipment. For a couple of nights it is fine and would be perfect for contractors as there is a bar / restaurant on site.
The hotel and rooms have a really wonderful, quirky style. My single room was everything I needed it to be with a TV, a cloud-shaped tray table and a good view of Manchester. Very well located between Manchester Piccadilly station and Piccadilly Gardens, it was the perfect place to explore the city centre.
The location of the hotel is good, near Manchester Oxford station, China town and supermarket (5-10 minutes walk). It takes around 15 minutes walk to city centre. The aircon of my room was broken and the staff changed the room for me and offer us two free drink vouchers which is unexpected.
Salford, Manchester
Great hotel and location for Manchester City Centre. Prefect location for the AO (MEN) arena with parking close by. City Suites 2 door sign doesn't clearly state '2' but both buildings are next to each other so its only a short walk if you make our minor mistake on arrival! :)
Staff was very friendly, room was really nice, free breakfast which I didn’t expect, free hot drink, places to chill that isn’t just the room. Curlers, hair dryer and straighteners in the room. For how much it was and the location I think this is one of the best value hotels in Manchester.
The room was exactly what I needed for wandering around Manchester. Not too many bells and whistles, but it was clean and comfortable, exactly what a hotel needs to be. Staff were friendly and the self-serve breakfast was excellent once I worked out where the plates were!
Lovely staff, great room and super breakfast! Seriously if you’re gonna stay make sure you get breakfast, one of the better hotel breakfasts I’ve had for sure. The rooms are nice, the location is great and it feels very clean and efficient. Great stay in Manchester!
Great location, perfect for a city center stay in Manchester. Would stay again, room was clean and comfy. Car park next door that was as hotel advised and convenient. Check in and check out super quick and easy using the online process. Saved queues at front desk.
Location of the hotel is very close to Shudehill Interchange, just 5 minutes walk if I travelling to Manchester City Centre by coach, the room is spacious and the bathroom is quite neat and tidy
Great location in the heart of Manchester city centre, and also really nicely located by canal. Very nice modern hotel with lots of ammenities
Very helpful friendly staff, smart clean hotel, good food and drink. Will definitely visit again on my next business trip to Manchester
The location was right in the city centre. Tram stop to Manchester Airport right outside the hotel.
Nothing. Bad experience considering I use this hotel regularly everytime I come to Manchester.
