Manchester is a beautiful, very friendly city. We particularly enjoyed our visits to the Trafford centre and the highlight was going to the Etihad stadium to see Coldplay we are already thinking about another visit to the city :)
We loved Manchester. Exciting but very busy on perhaps the busiest day of the year. We visited the Ethiad stadium to see Coldplay. Such a great and memorable experience. We had breakfast in an Indian Masonic hall Dashoon? It was brilliant and a fascinating place full of history. Staff were so welcoming and attentive and the brunch menu catered for all in our party. Uber,s were brilliant ferrying us about. Totally reliable and we always felt safe getting around.
Initially, I visited Manchester to join a tour that took me out of the city. I ended up spending 2 days in Manchester where I explored the city, its history, buildings and churches. The people were friendly, and helpful when I asked for directions, and some suggested places to visit & photograph when they learnt I was an overseas visitor.
We enjoyed the tram ride. A family ticket all day was only £5.20 - buy ticket at the machine in the tram platform. We loved China Town because we picked a great Vietnamese restaurant and the kids loved their pho! My son visited the National Football Museum and the Old Trafford stadium, which he loved!
The best thing to do in Manchester is explore football. The national museum of football is must see and also very recommended to check out Old Trafford. Either just with a stadium tour or get there for a game!
had the most amazing interaction with Ahmet on the front desk. Such a warm welcome & helped me enjoy my stay to the max, always went above and beyond to make sure I had everything needed for a beautiful stay. Will definitely be back ❤️
This hotel gets a really bad rep when really it is wonderful. I’ve never had any issues with this place. The staff are always wonderful. They’ll chat to you all day and check you in nice and quick. Location perfect. Right bang in Manchester City centre. I had booked for a gig in the city and needed somewhere central to Piccadilly for when I went to wales the day after. Room had no faults whatsoever. The windowless room had air con and tea and coffee in ect. Just basic things that you’ll need. Great because I was out for most of it.
Superb location. You step out the hotel and straight into Manchester cathedral. Right behind the hotel is the Arndale shopping center and the Northern Quarter is a 5 mins walk away. Loads of restaurants, pubs, bars, well it's the city centre so. Staff was very friendly, came all the way upstairs about 5 times when there was a problem with the fuse. Had the feeling they'd do anything for you and they were very welcoming. Room was totally fine, bathroom also okay. It had everything you need (except for a hair dryer).
The hotel receptionist at the time (I think he was called Adam) was absolutely amazing. He gave us some amazing advice on how best to get to Manchester city centre and which part of the Christmas market to aim for. The spa was amazing, and just what we needed for the short break. The room was small, but catered to our needs as the bed was extremely comfortable. Would highly recommend staying here.
As I am afraid of heights, we requested a room on a low floor. Despite the hotel being fully booked, the staff at reception were really helpful and upgraded us to a corner suite on the second floor. It was beautiful and we couldn't thank you enough for another wonderful stay. This has always been our favourite hotel in Manchester, and the location is superb.
I had a great room with large comfy bed, breakfast venue is large to accommodate more people… and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Plus there is a tram stop next to the hotel and it takes only 15 minutes to get to the city center. Definitely going to stay there again if I’m back in Manchester :)
A lovely hotel in an historic factory building very centrally located. Convenient to Oxford St rail station & the city centre. Hotel was very tastefully decorated, staff were very friendly & helpful. A lovely relaxed vibe in the hustle & bustle of downtown Manchester.
My favourite hotel in Manchester! if you are after a luxury stay in the heart of the city centre, then Dakota should be on your list. The rooms are well decorated and are comfy! Dakota also has a lovely steakhouse and a gorgeous bar! Moreover, their terrace is a must!
Great location, perfect for a city center stay in Manchester. Would stay again, room was clean and comfy. Car park next door that was as hotel advised and convenient. Check in and check out super quick and easy using the online process. Saved queues at front desk.
this hotel was just perfect for us. we visited Manchester for a concert and was a great location for us. friendly staff, rooms clean. it is in the city centre and after reading a few reviews from people complaining of traffic noise, what do you expect?
The location was very convenient for Manchester city centre, just one stop on the tram. The hotel was very clean. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was also very good. The room was comfortable and quiet.
Fantastic location for Manchester City centre and the Arena and Victoria station in particular. The hotel was very nice, bed was very comfortable and room really nicely presented. Very clean.
Wonderful location. Quiet, single building, not a row home. Immaculate interior with wonderful shower. Hotel room was similar to size in USA. Will return next time we are in Manchester.
I loved the location of the hotel! It really doesn't get better than Manchester city centre, with literally everything just a few minutes of walk or a quick public transport ride away.
Went to a Gig at Manchester Arena. Hotel was pretty central to the city centre can't fault value and location close to everything really. Beds pretty comfy and room a fair size.
The rooms were well furnished and the location of the hotel is great for doing some shopping and eating in the heart of Manchester as everything is less than a 20min walk away.
A nice hotel for a short stay in the Middle of Manchester. Walking distance to Piccadilly train station. Easy access from Manchester Airport with no taxi or car hire necessary.
Fernandes in the reception was very professional very good hotel one of the top 3 in Manchester the location is perfect hotel smell room size Restaurants room service
