Tram system superb. €5 daily ticket amazing value. location of hotel to Old Trafford was perfect, roughly 10 mins walk. Exchange Quay Tram station less than 300 meters from hotel. People so friendly no matter where we went. Hotel room was comfortable, clean, stayed on 4th floor overlooking the quay and staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.
To go see Alddin ,at the Opera House and to have nice meal at the hotel.Everything is at walking distance. The only but and very sad to see even outside the Hotel and around the city centre the great number of homeless people sleeping rough, at this time of year.
Travelled to the Palace Hotel in Manchester to attend an event. Booked to stay overnight as the journey was too far to drive there and back in a day. Event wasn't quite as good as we hoped it would be but the evening was saved by the beautiful hotel and friendly staff. Restaurant was fully booked, so ordered room service as we didn't fancy venturing out in the rain. Food arrived promptly, was delicious and reasonably priced. When we checked out the next morning we travelled to the Trafford Centre for some shopping and would highly recommend a visit if you are in the vicinity.
We stayed in the motel one just outside Piccadilly station! Really good location could walk into city centre within five minutes. We stayed Valentine's weekend so we paid £164 for the Saturday and Sunday night which was the best price we could find considering what weekend it was. Rooms were shall but we expected this but had a very modern look and feel to the hotel and great staff. Couldn't get any cell phone reception in rooms which was inconvenient for the whole weekend. We ate out at a few places, we went to Home Sweet Home for breakfast which was delicious I had the breakfast waffles and my boyfriend had the chicken basket, however we did have to wait an hour for the table but this was probably due to it being so busy on Valentine's morning. We also went for a meal in Neibourhood in spinningfields which was great too! Had a reservation booked and the food and staff were amazing too! Would definitely recommend! We only stayed for two days but I think we had just about enough time, we did try and explore a bit of the city in the days aswell as going for drinks in the night! There is a lot of trams and buses that travel through the city so am assuming it's easy to get around but since we were in a central location we could just walk to everywhere we wanted to go or in the night paid for a taxi to spinning fields which cost around £6 each way!
fantastic hotel, very clean and welcoming, room was amazing, very spacious, a wide range of shops all within walking distance. A must go place is the Comedy Store and Gauchos Restaurant and you can't go to Manchester and not have a drink in The Living Room!
Great location-very close to the train station, tram to Manchester city game-right across from the central public library, walking distance from the national art gallery, walking and running distance to the nearby canal for a morning jog to old Trafford park… And the restaurants inside the hotel are perfect. Great service - I just ration and concierge both! The Bathroom showers and heated towel rack was great.Decent gym… treadmills and stationery bikes. The pool is definitely not a lap swimming pool. Very spacious rooms for family.
Stay Inn was just what we wanted - a clean room for 2 nights. Perfect location for the Manchester arena and central Manchester which are both 10 mins walk away. Room had a fan mounted on the wall which was a god send! Will definitely be staying again when we next see a gig in Manchester! Also good to note that there’s free parking (remember to register at the desk) which is a rarity in Manchester city centre hotels.
Loved the friendliness of the staff, great location, lovely room and reasonable price! Perfect for a weekend getaway! It was our first time in Manchester and first time using Hotel Motel chain. Would definitely come again. Great ability to have reduced cost of parking to at the NCP Deansgate which the hotel was quick to respond when I messaged a few days before arriving.
It was a lovely clean hotel which was quite centrally based. Was only a short walk to the city centre. But by far the best thing about our stay was the BED. It was the best bed I have ever slept in by a country mile. If I could packed it up and took it with me I would’ve. Overall though had a great stay at the hotel and will definitely stay again when in the city
Staff are great, helpful, and always there for you. Room is very spacious and has everything you need in it.. The hotel has a cafe, bar, and a restaurant serving mediterranean and Italian food. Location is great as it’s close to Manchester city center and close to transport links.. I really enjoyed my stay at Rampant Lion Hotel..
The staff was very hospitable and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. It's in the gay village and the canal is just behind the hotel, worth a walk and wander around as there are nice places to eat and have fun. Manchester Piccadilly Station is less around 5min away by foot and the center is around 5min walk.
