The free out of season car park, easy reach of beaches, country walks, the locality of the cosmopolitan but very friendly atmosphere of Penzance, beautiful St Michael's Mount, great access to stores followed by excellent cooking equipment in our lodge and a very dog friendly area made this a great place to stay cheaply with pooch and kido.
Small Cornish coastal town adjacent to Penzance. Great beach and St Michael's Mount which is worth a visit in it's own right, check opening as this is a property run by both the St Aubyns Estate and the National Trust. Highly recommend Ben's Cornish Kitchen opposite the Godolphin Hotel, very limited daily menu but superb food (£25 two courses, £30 three courses) and a stunning wine list (£££): You will need to book. Town itself has the normal selection of galleries, cafes, and gift shops, etc.
My husband and I went for three days for our anniversary, it's a lovely place and everyone we met was very friendly , it's well worth the walk across to st, Michael's mount when the tide is out and visiting the castle.
Lovely coastal walks, beautiful sandy beach and amazing views of st Michaels mount. Town had a few galleries and shops plus several restaurants to try. Glad not to be there in summer as I imagine road gets crowded . However a good location for exploring that coastline .
Marazion is a lovely village with its own character. We have known it for many years and visit regularly. The views are stunning. We love the expanse of the beach and the ever changing look over the sea. St Michael's Mount is also a favourite.
We stayed at Marazion so we could visit the Rose Wylie exhibitions at Newlyn Gallery and the Exchange. Also the Patrick Heron at the Tate. We also really like the Marazion Hotel and had a really good dinner in the Cutty Sark Restaurant.

It was so quiet and peaceful and we were left alone for the week..the location is perfect, being an excellent starting point every day to tour the gorgeous sights of Cornwall. Marazion is only a few minute walk and the Fire Engine Inn is a lovely pub to sit out in in the sun. The Godolphin hotel is also fab to sit out in with an excellent view of St.Michael's Mount. Penzance is only 3 miles away and that have Morrisons and Tesco and Sainsburys.

Tristan and his family were very welcoming and the apartments they provided were of the highest quality and excellent value for money. My girlfriend and I had a pleasant and relaxing stay. Location is great also, 20-25 mins walk from Marazion seafront where there are plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants. St Ives and other attractions/towns are in easy driving distance. We would love to come back and stay in the future!
