Enjoying panoramic sea views, the Mevagissey Bay Hotel offers relaxing accommodations on the south coast of Cornwall. This is a wonderful place! John and Elleke, the owners, along with Fritz, Sharon, and the other folks working there, made us welcome and comfortable. The bathroom is huge, with LOTS of hot water. The room looks out on the ocean, as does the lounge. Breakfast is plentiful, special requests happliy received. We stayed two weeks, and Elleke made special french toast for us a couple of times! When we weren't sightseeing or hiking, we were happy to stay "home" and look at the ocean. I can't recommend the Mevagissey Bay Hotel enough!
Located in the pretty fishing village of Mevagissey, overlooking the bay, this boutique hotel has steps down to the secluded beach. Great location and lovely historic details. We didn’t have the time or the weather but we all agreed that it would be great to stay on a lounger on the patio overlooking the sea. Breakfast fruit bar and warm croissants were appreciated. Seaview room had an excellent view. Very clean. Parking is on site. Kind and attentive staff.
Honeycombe House provides accommodations with a shared lounge and free WiFi, and is located in Mevagissey. Honeycomb House has incredible views of Mevagissey and Val and Ian, the lovely owners, are friendly and helpful! Val had even sent us a note about directions that avoided a direct route through the village. Upon arrival Ian told us where to park and he even drove our car to the spot and we walked down a short path with him to the guest house. Breakfast was wonderful in the room with huge windows and the spectacular view. We are retirees and wondered a bit about walking down to the village but it was easy. One can take the street or go into the nice park on the cliff directly opposite Honeycomb and walk down 75 steps with railings,, which was easy. We are walkers and used that route and it was no problem even though we are in our late 70s.
Located in Mevagissey, The Little Cornish B&B offers free WiFi and free off-site parking. All of the compact rooms in the bed and breakfast are fitted with a flat-screen TV and a goose down bedding. The breakfast was amazing and the hosts were brilliant
Located in Mevagissey, Linton Bed and Breakfast features free WiFi throughout the property. Boasting luggage storage space, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. By far the best B&B we have stayed in! It was a welcoming and beautiful home, the hosts were amazing and were always happy to help. The room was well furnished and the breakfasts were to die for! We even got freshly made scones after a very wet and soggy day out. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
Featuring free WiFi and a dining room, The Old Parsonage B&B offers pet-friendly accommodations in Mevagissey, 29 mi from Plymouth. Guests can enjoy the on-site breakfast room and shared lounge. Izzy and Tim went out of their way to provide for our needs, including storing medication I needed to be refrigerated in their home space. Izzy is a wonderful cook and both are very gracious with their guests. They gave us recommendations for restaurants and suggested we make reservations before arriving which ended up being very necessary, we found due to it being the high season. They also gave us information about local activities and constantly checked in about any needs.
Located in Mevagissey in the Cornwall region, Holly Cottage Vintage B&B has accommodations with free WiFi. Holly Cottage might date from the FIFTEENTH century! It is very very old, quaint to the max, and owned by the incredible Dom and Karen. They've restored the house and updated it with totally modern bathrooms, clean painted and plaster walls, good floors, etc. but they have retained all the quirkiness that makes staying here and delightful experience. No wall is straight, no floor is level, some of the old beams were made from sailing ship MASTS (!), and the staircases are windy and very fun. Not a place for disabled persons but everyone else will really enjoy it. Dom and Karen moved to Mevagissey from Manchester and, by dint of their hard work and marvelous personalities, have endeared themselves to Mevagissians. You will have a delightful time exploring this adorable fishing village, sampling great restaurants, and most of all, enjoying conversations with Dom.

Beautiful place. Spent a day exploring the harbor and shops. There's a beach nearby, at Portmellon. Lost Gardens of Heligan nearby. Beautiful walk out to Chapel Point. On a windy day, the surf at Portmellon is exciting! The church in Gorran is worth seeing. Cornwall is not very big, so we did day trips to tin mines, St. Michael's Mount, Port Isaac, and Boscastle, to name a few. We also walked out to Dodman Point, which is quite steep, scary, and lovely. Okay, it's all uphill and down. Mevagissey is, like many Cornwall towns, not built for cars! For dinner, we'd walk downhill to the harbor -- we liked the Harbor Pub and the Water Wheel--and then UP to the hotel!
Beautiful fishing village with quaint shops and lovely restaurants especially Sharks Fin restaurant the cuisine is delicious with excellent staff and stunning restaurant decor and atmosphere. Magnificent views of the coast and ocean.
Restaurants booked up on Friday and Saturday nights even though it wasn't main season. Seems lack of restaurants. Fish and chip shop was lovely. Fish gorgeous. Roads in and out of mevagissy really a bit tight for two way traffic.
Try and book accommodation with parking and then walk into the village as through traffic is a bit awkward. We ate lovely fresh fish at the Fountain Inn and enjoyed hearing the male voice choir there singing sea shanties which apparently they do on Monday evenings.
Mevagissey still retains its old charm, even though there has been quite a lot of building in recent years, and the local people are very easy people to make friends with. Good pubs and restaurants, very interesting museum, pretty views and easy access to other lovely places in the area. We will never tire of it.

I really enjoyed my stay. Izzy and Tim are a fantastic hosts who really know how to make you feel at home from the moment the booking was made, to the moment I left. Nice clean and comfy room and every day you get fresh water and fresh milk replaced. Very yummy breakfast with special options offered. They were very knowledgeable about the local area and incredibly helpful with handy tips. They were very astute and were helpful with all guests individual needs. 5 stars all the way.

Very friendly and helpful. The owner gave us a lift to our evening destination, which was unexpected and really kind. The breakfast was very good - we are vegetarian, and it was unexpected to have vegetarian sausage (even though there was only one left!). The room was really comfortable and it was a lovely old house with pretty features. In short, we had a lovely time, and most others would too. Location is perfect, right in the centre of Mevagissey, but not noisy.

everything about this property and the lovely couple that run it was just superb ! The standard and quality of the accommodation is far superior to that of other b and b’s (and even 5 star hotels) and the welcome and care we received from both Denise and Vic has to be experienced to be believed. We felt more like valued friends than paying guests.

Very comfy beds. Super breakfasts and very friendly owners who were very helpful with information. The room and ensuite were immaculately decorated and we had a sea view. Stay on a Monday and you can hear the Mevagissey Male Voice Choir singing shanties in the local pub which also serves great food

Great property with everything you need for a self catering holiday home. Comfortable and still retains historical charm with superb views over the beautiful Mevagissy harbour. A good base to also explore other areas of Cornwall and it's areas of outstanding natural beauty.

Location was great for walking into Mevagissey. And bedroom was clean and tidy. Steve was welcoming on arrival and only had to press a bell should we have needed him at any point during our stay.

This is a quiet, family run property, we had a very relaxing stay. The property has a lovely view over the bay with gardens that are a delight to just sit in and unwind. All of our breakfast requirements were met with nothing being too much trouble for Sarah, she and Roy were extremely nice people and very informative of local amenities and locations. My Mother and I had an excellent stay, and would highly recommend Portmellon Cove guest house.
