Located 200 yards from the beach, The Beach House is a Grade II listed Victorian mansion which features panoramic views of the Isle of Wight and The Needles. The room was very comfortable and well decorated. It was warm and roomy. The facilities were good. We had a good meal and breakfast was good except our poached eggs were over cooked (more like hard boiled).
Set in Milford on Sea in the Hampshire region, Luxury house close to beach features a patio and garden views. It offers free WiFi, a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. Very well appointed holiday home, very comfortable, very clean in pristine condition, fabulously decorated, beds very comfy, beautiful family bathroom Really enjoyed lay out of super modern kitchen and dining area with all the appliances a bonus having a dishwasher and washing machine/drier.Really enjoyed sitting out in the pretty courtyard patio area. Excellent location great being able to walk down to the sea 5 mins away and property excellent location for visiting all the lovely surrounding area of the New Forest plus lovely having Milford on Sea village 10 minute walk from house. House also in a very nice quiet cul de sac.
The park had a nice feel to it and it was extremely clean and well presented. I was disappointed that you had to pay an additional cost to use the swimming pools and indoor facilities when we'd already paid a lot to stay at the park. Due to the size of the holiday park, some of the chalets are a long walk away from the main reception and park facilities - be aware of this if you are booking with small children who are keen to get out and use the facilities regularly - there is a lot of walking time required! Bring bikes if you can! Overall we had a very pleasant stay at this park.
This area makes a lovely cliff walk. We visited in May and the pink thrift and yellow flowers were gorgeous. You can walk for miles along the top or further down nearer the sea. Beautiful vistas over to the Isle of Wight or over to Swanage and the Dorset coast. The walk is flat and the paths well maintained. Plenty of car parks.
Stunning cliff top location of the hotel which was a short walk (half a mile) from the village centre. A couple of shops and quite a few restaurants..we sampled.the Brittania Thai restaurant and the lobster night at le perle..both were excellent. Great place to walk from and easy to get to the New Forest and Dorset attractions by car. Didn't use the public transport but noticed buses running towards Bournemouth at fairly regular intervals. Would definitely stay here again.
We are regular visitors to Milford on Sea as our family live there. The purpose of our visit this time was to celebrate a big birthday with our family. We always love the 1950’s feel to the Village & the lovely views to be seen across the bay, which the Beach House Hotel provides as it is situated on the headland & looks out across to the Isle of Wight & The Needles.
Milford on sea is perfect for coastal walking either way, lymington via salt marshes is excellent, you can option for shorter route. The other way is highcliffe and mudiford. Good buses and excellent restaurant, Britannia thai.
Quiet area. Quaint village centre. Fantastic coastal walks and stunning views. Only ate at our hotel - The Beach Hotel, highly recommend, it’s busy every day of the week - with local people too which must be a good sign.

We could see The Needles and Hurst Castle from our room and bathroom. The staff were young and lovely. You walk out of the hotel and within 20 metres you are in the beach !
