Located 200 yards from the beach, The Beach House is a Grade II listed Victorian mansion which features panoramic views of the Isle of Wight and The Needles. Location great, room very comfortable, breakfast outstanding, generally peaceful with outstanding service.
Located in Milford on Sea, 30 miles from Lulworth Cove, THE LAZY LION has a restaurant and free WiFi. Lovely room, above a lovely pub. Debbie, Iain and the team were excellent. Debbie especially was so welcoming and friendly and just made us feel right at home. Nothing was too much trouble. She is amazing and a real asset to the place.
Located in Milford on Sea, 29 miles from Lulworth Cove, Lovely 3 Bed Caravan, Milford on Sea provides a restaurant and free WiFi. We really enjoyed our stay! The caravan was clean and tidy, well presented, all round a great accommodation. The host was super friendly and helpful in the run up to our stay and everything was very smooth and well organised. Great communication from the start. Lovely area, we visit every year though this was our first year at with this provider and would definitely recommend!
The Annex is located in Milford on Sea. The accommodation is 29 miles from Lulworth Cove, and guests benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi. Very comfy place with everything you need. Kitchen very well equipped and functional. Host very friendly and helpful.
Lymore Orchard is located in Milford on Sea. The vacation home has garden views and is 22 miles from Portsmouth. Diz was an excellent host and went to such lengths to ensure that our short break away was special. The complimentary hamper and essentials in the fridge were such a lovely touch and we really appreciated having all the supplied toiletries too. The lodge was very clean and beautifully decorated. We spent every evening in the gorgeous garden enjoying the peace and quiet and making the most of the fire pit. If you're looking for a luxury break away by the sea with superb facilities and hosts, look no further!
Try the Lighthouse restaurant.. great seafood and excellent atmosphere. If your looking for nightlife and late boozy nights... try Bournemouth. Milford on Sea is about relaxation. For a sandy beach with facilities try Mudeford Beach.
Lovely area, enjoyable walks, probably not ideal for children due to cliff erosion and lack of lifeguards. We travelled into nearby Lymington to the Saturday market which was brilliant and a 30 minute river cruise which was great. Lots of lovely beach huts at Milford on Sea with different colours, styles and designs. We stayed and ate at the Beach House which was really enjoyable and very welcoming.
Quiet with just a handful of small shops and some excellent small restaurants. The perfect place if you want to enjoy a quiet dinner and retire for the night with a good book. For anyone wanting lively nightlife or Star Bucks this is definitely not the place.
Lovely clean and tidy village, the bars and shops are fun and quirky but stylish. Great atmosphere and people are very friendly and chatty. Walking distance to beach and great costal walks. A visit to The cave bar is an absolute must! The little cafes are dotted around and offer really good food.
This area was new to us and it was a pleasure to explore. There is a lovely sandy beach at Christchurch, the coast and views are beautiful, lots of delightful picnic spots in the new forest with horses and cows wandering around freely, shops had gone out of their way to be covid secure, there are lots of places to choose from for eating out. It was also easy to park and as we fell on good weather there was a lovely vibe of people chilling our on the green.
I’ve been coming to Milford to holiday with the family now, for 10 years. We stay close to the shops for convenience and restaurants but love the area most of all, for its closeness to the beach, to wildlife walks in the New Forest and avian life spotting along the lagoons from Keyhaven to Pennington. These latter are all within walking distance and the New Forest, 15 minutes in the car.
The Annex at Milford on Sea was the perfect retreat. The view out of the lounge window out to open countryside such a treat. Being West facing I could watch the sun go down into the evening. The accommodation is very spacious, clean and very well equipped indeed. There was everything I wanted there and more. Helen has put every last detail into the Annex, even including some lovely pictures from her Gallery. The family are next door but very quiet, I barely heard them, but when I needed them, they were very helpful.
The caravan was fantastic-very comfortable and well-equipped. The location was amazing-really close to the shop & main centre (for reception, swimming pool/spa, restaurant/bar & entertainment). The shop was really handy and was much bigger than I expected-get there early for delicious fresh bread. Milford on sea itself was nice too-with decent play areas on the seafront (& parking was refreshingly easy). A fantastic long-weekend in a lovely part of the world.
The entire hotel is just amazing , the rooms are huge and extremely well decorated and the Bathrooms are amazing . definately will visit again , ideal as in my case to treat my fiancee on her birthday
Great location, a short walk to the beach and some great pubs and bars nearby. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. They serve a nice breakfast too.
