In a 17th-century former traveler's inn, the White Hart is in Moreton-in-Marsh’s historic town center. We loved the location and it's proximity to many attractions in the area. We were given a room upgrade on arrival and our room was fabulous. It was large and had a seating area, bathroom was very modern, all the things you need such as tea and coffee facilities, bathrobes, slippers and all the little biscuit and chocolate treats. The staff were amazing and very helpful. Great selection for breakfast.

Beautiful town. We were here for a wedding so didn't get to truly get to know the place but can recommend The Sheep in Stow for food & drink. The Cotsworld Grey Shop was below our apartments, stunning shop with some really beautiful pieces of furniture and accessories for your home.
Loved the historical aspects of the Village and the variety of shops. There also seemed to be a fair few restaurants. We arrived on the Tuesday and the market was on which was very enjoyable to walk round - the homemade fudge is delicious. All the shop keepers and their staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. The location is superb as the places we visited we a short drive away,
We stayed in Moreton due to its location, which is ideal for exploring north cotswolds, as the Bell Inn did not have a chef [at time of our stay] we eat at the Swan Inn [further down high street] it was very good, nice food and good beer, friendly staff, also quite cheap, We did not know there was a market in the high street on Tuesdays, so all cars have to be moved out to accomodate the stalls, [it can be a problem to find anywhere to park from 6.00pm on Monday to 6.00pm on Tuesday however the market is very good, and worth a visit.
It was the perfect little town for an overnight stay while enjoying a trip around the Cotswolds. Lots of choices of places to eat although we decided to eat at the White Hart as I'd heard it was good, and we were certainly not disappointed, but there were a handful of other excellent-looking hotels/restaurants to choose from. Very easy to park in the town, and what's more it's all free! - very unusual! and some nice shops to explore, also cream teas are readily available and delicious! All round, a nice little town with far fewer people than in some of the other 'picturesque' Cotswold towns in the middle of August!!
generally it was great – however as I said the room was very stuffy overnight; there was no Wi-Fi or signal in the room; and the information on the web about check-in and checkout times was wrong (fortunately!) staff were friendly and helpful and happy to be very flexible on this.
stayed at the fire college which was excellent - plentiful secure parking - room was secure and plenty of space (could do with air conditioning if there is anything that would make it better, otherwise great). the college is a mile walk from Morton. Morton is a small town / village. it is quaint and being in an area which is noted for beauty and old style properties it does not have the 'standard' in town shops and food outlets. Pubs ,a few restaurants and a fish and chip shop - do not expect a Mcdonalds or similar - it is not that sort of area. Recommend the 'birds of prey' centre which is about a mile from the town. It is a pretty good base on the edge of the cotswolds to visit the area.

I love the cottage, it was lovely and the kitchen was well equipped. The garden was beautiful and smelled so good that it attracted bees . Understandable. Shopping for groceries was easy and near.
The property is beautiful. We loved the interior, especially the library. The room was super clean, beds very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Great location, right in the city center, friendly and helpful staff, extremely clean and comfortable rooms.
