Breakfast was superb - delicious homemade granola with yoghurt plus extras and beautifully cooked full scottish breakfast. And dinner was excellent too! Top marks.

Nairn is a quiet town a short drive from Inverness and the airport and with easy access to the coast to the east. There are food takeaways in the town which, in my opinion, aren’t very inspiring. If you are vegetarian or vegan you would need to be careful because 4 out of the 5 chip shops we asked said they cook their chips in beef dripping.
There is a decent Sainsbury's just outside the town.
The beaches are lovely places to walk, spot birds pick up shells etc.

As we used live in Nairn and still have friends there which means we probably had a different experience to your usual tourist.. Nairn is still a great place with good restaurants and pubs and plenty to do and great to use as a base to travel further afield.

Exceptional place to stay. We had a warm welcome, really great helpful staff. Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean. We has such a fantastic time, and wonderful comfortable bed, very relaxing. Everything was high quality including our breakfast ( lovely bright breakfast room with super views). Easily one of the best (actually, probably the best!) Place we ever stayed. Highly recommended, many thanks

We have visited Inverness three times now, but this was our first stay in Nairn. The beach is very welcoming with plenty of space to walk, run, play and enjoy the views; this is the kind of beach I would visit and walk along every day if I lived there. Located close nearby are various historical places to visit (Cawdor Castle, Culloden, Clava Cairns) and Inverness is not far away. Not being much of a "city person" I love to wake up to views and fresh air -- and Nairn offers places like the Invernairne Hotel that enable you to do that and still visit so much nearby.

Lovely location - great views from the breakfast room and easy walk down to the seafront. Exactly as described no tea and coffee in room but available on the corridor and no evening meals but plenty of places to eat in Nairn that were in easy walking distance or you could order in and eat in the lounge.
Beautiful, stunning and would love to re visit! Why pay for a hotel when places like this exist! Accommodation very comfortable and owners exceptionally helpful.
