It was fabulous, good value for money, room spotless, staff were lovely. Meals are huge and tasty. Great using local produce you can really taste the quality. The beer garden and play area for the kids was outstanding and although we didn't bring our dog it's super dog friendly and was great seeing one at breakfast! We had a room with a balcony and the view of the wheel and the small waterfall was just beautiful. Would 1000% recommend

We liked the shower soap , the tea bags the corn oil and the salt&pepper. Thanks for these things that you never pack yourself. Newly refurbished - the place is great with fantastic location over the gorge and views too!

The overall service was brilliant, just staying there felt great. Katie was very helpful, always smiling, nothing was too much trouble. Nice to see the room had a large comfortable bed. Breakfast which came with the room was very tasty.

    we took on a couple of the lovely walks with good views ,you would need to wear some sensible shoes or walking boots, there are also some chickens , rabbits and a play area with a huge slide. it is located in a little hamlet and is very quiet.

    The place is very nice, the staff was very polite and friendly, nice and quite and a nice place to have food and a beer, the roast was disappointing to be honest but all other food was nice, like the breakfast and there burgers. The room was a good size, the pillows was uncomfortable, my girlfriend couldn't sleep the first night and I couldn't sleep the second night, the WiFi was very poor but in a location like that, I'm not surprised. I would recommend to go to new Mills to stay and to eat especially if your planning to hike the peak district

    The Peak district is just one of the most beautiful areas in the world and the Little Mill is very well situated to provide an opportunity to explore the beauty. As a gastro pub, it provides very good meals made from local produce and one can also get a very good draught beer. The rooms for overnight are excellent, spacious and comfortable. Walks from the front door are spectacular if one likes raw nature at its most beautiful level and some of them can be quite challenging.

    New Mills is a lovely, distinctive town with a system of old viaducts that you can walk under and around. Other walks include the Millenium Walk that passes by the river Goyt and the ruins of an old mill. The local shops have everything you need for a visit and there are some lovely restaurants we would particularly recommend Sicilian restaurant A Travola. The town is well located for exploring the southwest area of the Peak District beyond with tors and dales a short drive away.

    Lovely place to stay.

    Lovely place to stay. There was a real homely and family feel to it. Dogs and children welcome. The staff couldn't do enough to help. The food and drinks were really reasonably priced, portion sizes were huge! Would absolutely stay here again. Such good value for money

    It is very remote and not very easy to find but the postcode does get you in the correct area with a good satnav or map The room was well decorated and very clean Staff are really helpful. A very pleasant, relaxing place to stay
