Pool area is beautiful, nice steam room, sauna and whirlpool. Entire facility us beautifully decorated and full of charm. We enjoyed playing pool in the evenings. The Pub is excellent...best meal we had on 2 weeks in the UK! Excellent food, superb staff. The Pub staff went out of their way to be friendly and accommodating. Our last night we were just hanging out I'm the lobby and decided to get dessert and coffee. The wait staff delivered it right to us, with a smile.

    Great location and beautiful looking hotel and spa, two night stay, bed size real issue, very small double, well used bed, dated hotel. Pool and sauna and steam room was ok, pool cold. Food great on valentine's night, waited very long time after asking multiple staff for a drink. Second night restaurant food, not good cold food, kitchen staff argument and lots of ppl getting the wrong food. Staff look like they have been working 16 hour shifts. Unorganised mess at times, very short staffed. Hotel needs an injection of cash, spent on it asap. Get rid of the awful curtains..

    Newby Bridge is a very old and characterful area.

    Newby Bridge is a very old and characterful area. There aren't any pubs other than the Swan Hotel and Lakeside Hotel , which are great. The walks are wonderful around the lake . Will return when the steam train is running.

    We had a great stay.

    We had a great stay. We travelled around the lakes taking in places of interest. We felt 5 days would have done instead of 7 days. The site needed some maintenance around the grounds, trees could have been better maintained and ground cover cut back. It's ideal for people wanting a quiet stay but is handy for the tourist attractions.

    Beautiful location with plenty of places to visit nearby.

    Beautiful location with plenty of places to visit nearby. We take the steam railway a short walk away to lake Windermere and then a boat trip. Suits us. The hotel also has a gym and swimming pool facility which is a nice bonus.

    Car park was too far from the hotel but everything else were amazing. Breakfast and dinner were lovely in the restaurant. Location was great and easy to get to. We enjoyed the Lake District, the boat and steam train ride. The room was lovely and clean and well laid out. We didn't have to go to far to get to our room. The bed and pillows were rather comfy. The hotel staff were really lovely, friendly, polite and helpful. Overall hospitality was excellent.

    Beautiful quiet location, self contained with great spa facilities. We booked a dog friendly room which meant an extra charge of £35/day, the dog friendly rooms are on the lower floor, all with hard floors for easy cleaning and exits close by, so you don't have to walk through the hotel and lift with your dog. Restaurant was great, although service was a little hit and miss, but there were a lot of young inexperienced waiters. Even so the two older waiters were amazing and managed to hold it all together.

    My friends and I recently had a short break and chose to stay at Newby Bridge Hotel, located conveniently close to the Lake District. Prior to our arrival, we emailed the hotel to inform them that we would be checking in late. We were pleased to find that they had left a note with a letter and keys at the front desk, making it easy for us to check-in upon our arrival from London.We had booked one of the larger rooms available for three adults through the Booking.com website.

    Our stay was lovely! couldnt recommend Newby Bridge Caraven Park enough. After needing to change the date due to the loss of my Father the staff were so helpful. The caravan was lovely spacious and modern and the little touches of the bag of treats/toys for our dog and the bottles of prosecco on arrival were extremely thoughtful. This is the 2nd time i have stayed and will definately be back.

    Evening meal was good (although as a couple we were not allowed to eat at tables for 4). The room was plain and overlooking the car park but the bed was comfortable and it was all clean. The swimming pool area was good and not too crowded. Great views from the hotel overlooking the river (windows need cleaning). Good location and ample parking.
