It was perfect for us.
It was perfect for us. It felt remote and only accessible by roads that were partially single track - yet not far (15 mins) from main resorts. Own transport is essential. Near to a cycle/walking track and great cafe. Lovely village reminding us of how things used to be.

We only used Newchurch as a base as we were meeting up with other friends in near-by Bembridge. The surrounding area was beautiful country side well known for cycling. Getting around the Island was easy may be more difficult in summer but this is the same everywhere. We ate at The Pointer Inn. Excellent food, service & atmosphere, really friendly helpful staff. Book a table to avoid disappointment.

Rosemary Cottage was a short distance from a really super pub, which was a bonus. This is the ideal place is you are a cyclist as there is a cycle route very nearby and a cafe attached to the property, which is where you have your breakfast. Great location.DavidUnited Kingdom
