North Berwick is an adorable seaside town with beautiful scenic views and an amazing golf course. We enjoyed the quaint shops and restaurants as well as hiking the law. Getting around was so simple. We walked everywhere and found it so easy to go back and forth to our accommodations. One word of caution, most places stop serving dinner by 8:00pm. North Berwick a lovely town with two sandy beaches, and boat trips to islands to see the sea birds. Seabird Centre is a bit expensive to go in but we did go in to see the camera's of the seabirds nesting - the puffin camera gave us really good views but the camera on gannet colony - the picture kept breaking up ?due to windy conditions. Quite a pleasant seaside town/harbour which I'm sure will be able to fill a day or more if you are there in the sunny weather - it was February when we were here and it was a tad chilly! Lovely beaches..from west beach to Seacliff. Lots as of eating places .. Lobster Shack ; Herringbone; Bostock ; the Drift etc. Beautiful Shops . Mueseums .. Blackadder church .. North Berwick has all facilities one could want including...
North Berwick has all facilities one could want including independent shops, supermarkets, coffee shops and petrol stations. The Rocketeer Restaurant serves excellent seafood and the staff are very welcoming. Our dog was allowed in and given water and treats. Steampunk Coffee serves excellent coffee! The walk up The Law is worth the views and the Scottish Seabird Centre is interesting and has a good cafe, though we didn't eat there on this occasion.Guest review byRanaldUnited Kingdom

It was also a couple minute walk from the station, which was good as we were relying on public transport. Another thing that pleased us was the bookcase. It had great books, also ones about Scotland, and a couple of fun games, as well as maps of the area. Staff disappeared and left note on door to say they avevto leave and wouldn't be around in the morning to serve breakfast ....therefore no breakfast which was paid for with the room. Even though it is in the middle of the town, it is just off a road, meaning that it is very quiet. The flat is very well appointed, comfortable and very clean.
