Boutique bedrooms and 3 levels of outside decking make the most of Orocco Pier's waterside setting. The hotel is modern and clean. Good covid precautions and staff are really helpful. Room was clean but small with a standard double and the bathroom was modern with a good size shower. Good value for the one night we stayed. Restaurant was good. Food well presented and tasty and good cocktails too. Reasonable staff attentive and unique view to dine in with the water forth road bridge outside.
Centrally located on the High Street, the friendly Ravenous Beastie has free Wi-Fi and en suite bedrooms with flat-screen TVs. Edinburgh city centre is a 15-minute train journey away. Friendly welcome from owner Moira. Nicely situated in the centre of Queensferry. My room was immaculate and bed was extra comfortable. Delicious freshly cooked breakfast.
The Queens has well-equipped accommodation boasting free WiFi in Queensferry, 4.4 km from Hopetoun House and less than 1 km from Hawes Pier. Gorgeous, friendly welcome from Angela. Beautifully decorated & spotlessly clean rooms. The comfiest bed we have both ever slept in. Crisp clean fresh smelling covers and towels. Just perfect. Gorgeous breakfast also and amazing choice.
Interstate place for an overnight stay or central location to explore Scotland. Interesting evening walks with beautiful views with a nice footpath leaving directly from the hotel to the road and rail bridges. Road meanders through the quaint village and old harbour area.
North Queensferry is perfectly situated on the River forth and within easy driving distance from the east coast and access to either the quaint villages along the coast or the bigger cities like Dundee etc. Jute, Jam and Journalism. Oor Wullie, The Discovery (the Ship) that took Scott to the Antarctic. and all the shops the other half will need (Wink)...Dunfermline itself has the famous Abby with connections to King Robert the Bruce......
The hotel is very nice. Our room was a good size and we had everything we needed. We had breakfast in the restaurant which we thought was slightly overpriced, but the food was good and the service friendly. Would be happy to recommend and we will most likely be back.
We have been here quite a few times now and love it the hotel , staff are always so friendly and welcoming . Had dinner in restaurant for the first time I wasnt disappointed, food arrived quickly and was delicious.
Not many facilities in North Queensferry but lots of visitor attractions nearby. On previous trips we have visited Dunfermline Abby,Andrew Carnegie’s house, Cullros, Dalmeny House and Fife. Good Park and ride nearby for Edinburgh.
The Hotel is in a good spot to travel from. The motorway heading north is no more than a 2 min drive, so great to head off to Perth, Dundee and Aberdeen. Inverkeithing station is a 5 min drive so you can be in the capital in 30 mins. Lochore and Loch Leven are no more than a 30 min drive and Loch Lomond only an hour away (Well worth the drive). Good food is very close, Queensferry has some nice places to eat and if you want genuine Scottish food there are local chip shops for a haggis / Pudding supper.
Super friendly staff with a great buffet breakfast for purchase in the restaurant.
