Well decorated, cozy room, very clean and spacious bathroom, although room was warm enough there was a heater available as well, hot chocolate and cookies was a warm gesture! housekeeping excellent, well located hotel few steps from bus station, multiple grocery shops around the corner and cross street to the center were star bucks and pret cafes there primark shop and Macdonald. Definitely will recommend it to anyone visiting Norwich.

I would like to recognize one of your employees. Keeley, who works at the front desk. She was absolutely amazing. I had a few problems coming with booking.com. After talking to her, she made all my problems disappear. She made coming here worth and looking forward to coming back.

FAQs about hotels in Norwich

A Center of Commerce Through the Ages

Once an important medieval trading centre, Norwich remains a popular shopping destination. The Chapelfield centre is the newest addition, whereas a historic shop sells the city’s most famous export: Colman’s Mustard. Castle Mall is underground, in a hill topped with a keep, part of the 12th-century castle founded by William the Conqueror.

Dating to the same era is the large cobbled square housing a 6-day market. It was said that Norwich had a church for every week, and while that is no longer true, over 30 medieval churches still exist. The cathedral was built using stone from Normandy and boasts England’s 2nd largest cloisters and 2nd tallest spire.

Colourful medieval façades line Elm Hill and the Guildhall is another fine example of the period. Half-timbered Dragon Hall was a trading hall, while St Andrew’s and Blackfriars Halls constitute England’s most intact friary. The 14th-century Cow Tower sits by the River Wensum upstream from Pulls Ferry, the train station and Norwich City FC.

Reportedly, Norwich once had a pub for every day, and today’s traditional inns and modern bars are certainly popular with the student population. Other entertainment options include the Theatre Royal and Playhouse.

Norwich accommodation on Booking.com includes historic hotels with pools, city centre guest houses and riverside apartments, all near to Norwich Airport.

Norwich is a great city to explore. As we had our granddaughters with us we booked a couple of trips: Seal Island with Bishop's Boats & Alpaca Trekking in Wells. The girls are 10 & 12 & really enjoyed the trips. As well as a visit to Primark & Cosmo Buffet!

There were plenty of very shops and lots of things to do in the city we ate both nights we were there at Harry‘s soul food restaurant. The food was very nice and excellent value for money from where our property was. It was a 10 minute walk into town and very straightforward as a couple we dislike to go to different citizen towns that we’ve not been to.

The cathedral quarter was nice, along with Tombland and the river, but the actual city where the shops are wasn’t the best, lots of undesirable people around which I guess you get in most cities. If I went again I would just avoid the city centre. There’s lots do do without going into the centre.

Good sized two bedroomed flat. Beds in both bedrooms are comfortable and are en suite. Well maintained and clean. The situation is perfect for Norwich city centre all restaurants being only about a 10 minute walk. Parking is just around down the side of the building and is free. Remember to log your reg number with the hosts though.

This is the best Best Western that I have ever stayed at. We were able to check in 2 hours early. Staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. The hotel has a lovely, well tended garden. Breakfast was fresh and hot. It was close to the city centre - 10 minute walk.

The hotel was ideally located for us. Just on the edge of the city centre (some 10 min walk) with plenty of parking. The hotel's policy is to allow the car to stay there until the end of the day of check-out giving more time to enjoy Norwich. It is also served by direct bus routes from railway station and city centre.
