Offering light, elegant bedrooms with luxurious bathrooms, The Old Custom House overlooks Padstow’s medieval harbor. Fresh, local fish and seafood are served in the stylish restaurant. Brilliant location, cosy room with a view of harbor, snuggley bed and delicious breakfast.
Located in Padstow, 11 miles from Padstow Harbour, Retallack Resort & Spa has accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking, a bar and a shared lounge. Views were great, apartment was amazing. Balcony overlooking fishing lake even had a pike living under the decking which we managed to see a couple of times. Good atmosphere. Didn't use the facilities as we were using the room as a base for sight seeing but was amazed at the high standards for the great deal I got.
Located in Padstow, 3.9 miles from Padstow Harbour, The Pickwick Inn & Oliver's Restaurant has accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a bar. Fantastic accomodation, everything well thought about in relation to the room and facilities provided.
Located in Little Petherick, 3 miles from Padstow, The Old Mill House is set in a renovated grade II listed former corn mill featuring a restaurant, bar, terrace and garden adjacent to a stream... Perfect location as a base to visit all local attractions. Free carpark nearby. Very hospitable owners. Beautifully renovated. Would not hesitate to visit again!
Padstow is a lovely little village, but gets very busy, an ideal is to park at the rock and get the ferry over cost 3 pounds, or park at the top of the hill and catch the bus into the village, really good food, best to visit when kids in school if you like it less busy,
It is a charming place, with plenty going on. There were quite a few interesting shops including craft galleries. Also wonderful for foodies. There seemed plenty for young families to do. It was busy. Whilst this gave it a buzz, some of this was tourist tat that did not appeal to me, so I would like to try out of season too. I felt that there was a sense of community and found people very friendly.
Padstow has a lovely little working port we loved the ferry back and forth to Rock where we parked the car over night. Had fish and chips and ate them sitting watching the harbour- will get busy in the summer - we went before the schools had all finished - July 15th even still quite a few families. Fabulous bookshop.
The hotel was fine but after spending 3500 pounds for two rooms I returned to Bermuda to a 60 pound parking charge! The main car park is inadequate for the number of rooms and the entrance to the secondary car park is so narrow that I witnessed two large cars damaging themselves getting through the entrance. Given I had an expensive hire car I wasn't doing the same. I parked in the car park where it didn't interfere with anyone and a month later received this fine. No notices up to warn you and no where else to park. Disgusting I will not be returning !!!
We only had 2 days at the coast and Padstow is one of the larger towns, so it was perfect for us. The Camel Bike Path to Wadebridge and Bodmin was a highlight, stopping at the Tea Garden just before Bodmin. We took the ferry across to Rock for breakfast one morning, learned a lot at the National Lobster Hatchery and had decadent cakes at Cherry Trees on the habor. Dinner in tiny Port Isaac at Outlaw's Fish Kitchen was amazing, worth the advance reservations!
Padstow is a great place , that is why we have stayed there numerous times. Cherry Trees is our favourite cafe for quality and value for money. The main problem is parking , but that would be difficult to overcome as it is so popular. We would try to avoid popular holiday times in future.
Would highly recommend 14@Padstow. Much better than your usual B&B, had the whole top floor to ourselves with bedroom, lovely comfortable bed, lounge/kitchen area with fridge and bathroom. All very well maintained and spotlessly clean. Lesley was the perfect host, very friendly and welcoming and had a lot of knowledge of the local area. The property is in walking distance about 10 mins to Padstow. Padstow is a beautiful working harbour with plenty of places to eat and drink.
The hotel is in a great location and has lovely views out over the estuary from the restaurant and some rooms. Our room was on the lower ground floor, and of a good size - we felt comfortable during our stay. It was great to have a room with a bath and the welcome drinks were very much appreciated. Breakfast in the hotel was of a good standard and all staff were friendly. It was good to have a parking space as I know that this can be rare in Padstow.
Wonderful large apartment, fully equipped and centrally located. Even nicer than the beautiful photos: tastefully decorated with a maritime, Cornwall theme and impeccably maintained. It's not a budget place, but if you are looking for a beautiful apartment, centrally located with a full kitchen and direct access to Padstow's reknowned restaurants, this is the place to stay. Highly recommend.
We stayed out of season when Padstow is much quieter buy still nice. The room was of a good size, very clean, a very comfortable bed and a good size clean shower/toilet, however, a little noisy when the pub is open due to access to the roof terrace being opposite a small window that we could not close. The London Inn is central with excellent access to walks, beach, harbour etc
We had a lovely stay, everything had been thought of including some really lovely personal touches like fresh flowers, cream team and enough tea and coffee for our stay. Also loved the hotel touches like the dressing gowns, big towels and really nice soap, body wash and lotion. Great location too! We just had the best time and hope to be back again one day
The view across the harbour from the apartment is just amazing. To sit at night and watch the world go by with a g&t from the big windows was bliss. We will definitely be back.
Wonderful host in a clean, spacious and well presented property. Great location, just a ten minute walk from harbor. Will definitely return - see you soon Yvonne.
Breakfast was amazing..owners could not have been more helpful or friendly . there was no taxi service into padstow on a Sunday and Ashley (owner) dropped is in.
Like the location as it suited us travelling to different areas of Cornwall, Staff were very friendly especially in the Lookout Bar/Resturant
Lovely room, really friendly hosts, nice breakfast and short walk down the hill to Padstow Harbour. Really enjoyed our stay.
The location was absolutely spot on, right in the middle of Padstow Harbour. The room was a great size and full equipped.
Great location very close to beaches and Padstow; brilliant breakfast; very welcoming hosts; cute cat and dog 🤩
The apartment was very nice. Had a view of the sea and only a few minutes walk into padstow.
The location is central to Padstow and overlooks the harbour.
No breakfast provided on site, BUT we received a discounted, confirmed breakfast booking at Rick Steins, St. Petrocs Bistro. Delicious.
Fantastic accomodation, everything well thought about in relation to the room and facilities provided.
Brilliant service, fabulous room, just a really lovely place to stay, we will definitely go back.
Great location, comfy room full of charm, wonderful host.
Amazing, clean and superb location
