We enjoyed the countryside and water activities as well as a short trip to nearby Port Isaac where we saw a filming of a popular TV show. People were quite friendly! It's not hard to get a decent pasty and cod & chips but you can also get a great black bean burger and "posh fries" at Burger and Fish. Getting around was relatively easy on foot or by cab if you schedule one ahead of time. Miller's taxi service was reliable. Loved the boat ride on the bay aboard the Jubilee Queen and the ferry ride to Rock. From Rock we took the Cornwall car service (arranged in advance. They were timely and the driver was informative) to get to Port Isaac.
Not my first time to Padstow. It's a lovely town with plenty of beautiful beaches within driving distance. Only went in to Padstow once over the weekend as it was very busy with all the Easter sun lovers. And yes, I did see Rick Stein....
Pretty harbour town. Lovely estuary walks and cycle rides. Excellent restaurants and little shops. Home to Rick Stein eateries and cookery school. We ate at Rick Steins Seafood redtaurant. Not a great meal I have to say. Overpriced for the quality of food we experienced. A real shame as we'd looked forward to eating there. Cycle ride along the Camel trail was lovely. Lots of galleries with exceptional art. Especially liked Jane Reeves Gallery.
Very picturesque, easy to park and walk. Lots to do, ease of access to number of great interesting places especially Prideaux Manor. lovely shops, fantastic variety of diverse and quality eating experiences. Interesting historical places and amazing beaches.walks to suit all abilities. Love it. Will visit again. Cornwall at its best whatever the weather.
A quiet seaside town, plenty of eating places most tastes would be catered for. A large expanse of sand for children & adults not much in the way of entertainment for younger people. Benefits from the expansion of a well known chef/tv personalty into the town. The town centre is easy to get around but the streets in and out could prove difficult for the mobility challenged
As it was out of season many places were closed but we ate in The Ship inn and had an amazing fish platter very good value for money. We visited Rojano `s the Italian on my birthday, and the service and food was excellent. The camel trail was great as it was quiet, but parts of the track was very rocky and muddy.

The rooms here are wonderful - so clean and comfortable! The breakfast was lovely and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. There is no onsite parking as you’re right in the centre of a Padstow but I’d recommend parking at the harbour car park (PL28 8BY), we paid £9ish for 24 hours. Highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Padstow :)

The location was perfect, just a small stroll to the harbour. I personally thought the decor of our room (popcorn) was fabulous and was decorated to the highest standard. The staff made us feel very comfortable and certainly made sure our holiday will leave us with wonderful memories of Padstow.

The location was fabulous, virtually on the harbour, no parking but we knew that. Arrived early evening- thought it was going to be noisy but Padstow goes to bed around 10:30, we didn’t hear a thing. Comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and lounge. We loved it :-)

Far from the town we wanted to go to -- Padstow. Also, difficult to find, street signing wasn't poor. Wouldn't have been able to find place without GPS.

Breakfast was great. James and Lisa really went out of there way for us, especially after we were in a minor car accident. The room was comfortable with many extra touches that made a difference, such as a carafe of water in the room. We also liked the location, which is just a short walk into downtown Padstow. Had a great view of the water from our room and the breakfast room.
