Peebles is a beautiful little town set on the River Tweed. There are loads of walks and spectacular views. The birds we saw were amazing, crested gold finch and buzzards red starts and too many chiffon chaffs! The hotel may be a bit tired around the edges income areas, but the furnishings and hospitality are wonderful. The setting is so picturesque, in stunning, breathtaking scenery. The facilities were great, warm pool, good gym, nice sauna and excellent food. The young staff are an absolute credit to the hotel, some of the most professional and courteous that I have met.
