We LOVED this hostel! So clean, so comfortable and such great little touches - food and drinks for purchase if you're cooking for yourself or feeling peckish and they're doing a great job with sustainability and recycling which is super important for us when travelling! Super friendly hosts - highly recommend!

Lovely location in the countryside, the room was super clean and comfortable. We had dinner at the pub and it was perfect. Stuff very friendly, Claire served us delicious breakfast and she was just lovely!

Distant Lights is a beautiful, roomy and comfortable apartment right off the South West Coast Path, which was great for us as walkers. Pendeen also has a lovely old historic pub just 1/2 mile from Distant Lights called Trewellard Arms, which shouldn't be missed. Our hosts were very kind and helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Everything! See our ratings above 10 out of 10! Our host was friendly, helpful and designed a gorgeous and useful one bedroom cottage (also with a single sofa bed in the living area) as well as a complete kitchen area with all the accouterments. PLUS - a washing machine. The bathroom was very comfortable and lovely. It was a delightful accommodation set in a fantastic garden overflowing with a large variety of floral and green plants and trees. We would stay again without doubt. The location was perfect for our various trips to nearby Cornish villages, beaches and countryside. There is so much more we could say about I’m not surprised that a high rating average has been achieved. I have a lovely video of the garden and dining area outside but I can’t figure out how to edit out a few stills. Sorry, but believe me it’s BEAUTIFUL!

Easy self-check in even though we arrived late at night. Mike, Ally & Elvis are wonderful hosts. Mike recommended lots of places that we shouldn’t miss in Cornwall. The living room and breakfast room are beautiful. Lots of breakfast choices and the hot foods are well prepared and delicious. Free parking on street is convenient.
