In the charming village of Plympton, near Plymouth, this Georgian manor house combines historic character with modern features, including 42-inch LCD TVs and free internet access. Beautiful place. I could not fault anything. All the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend this St Elizabeth’s House, will definitely come back....5*
Located on the edge of the beautiful Dartmoor National Park and just five minutes from Plymouth, the 5-star Boringdon Hall Hotel and Spa features fantastic historic interiors and elegant rooms, and an... This is an incredible place - superb staff, luxurious spa, great food and an enchanting venue. Andreas and the entire team were welcoming and attentive and did everything to make sure we had a good time. We had excellent treatments at the magnificent spa and came home relaxed and refreshed. Looking forward to coming back.
Nestled amid 100 acres of parkland, this traditional English country house is perfectly positioned for exploring both the timeless elegance of Devon and the bustling center of Plymouth. Lovely and comfortable, very dog friendly even provided snacks for the dog when we had our dinner and breakfast! Lovely food and very friendly staff.
Just off the A38, with easy access to Plymouth's city center, Dartmoor and the beaches of Devon and Cornwall, the hotel offers great value, with free parking and a restaurant and bar. Helpful staff, always willing to help and didn't object to us rising very late on our first morning and still cleaned the room perfectly.
Located in Plymouth, 1.6 miles from Plymouth Hoe, 2 miles from Plymouth Pavilions and 1.9 miles from Cathedral Church of St Mary and St Boniface, Stunning Plymouth Cottage - Sleeps 6 - By Habita... very clean, spacious house with all the things you’d need in a house that you don’t realise you need, like cutlery, crockery, pots and pans etc. there was even a decent coffee machine aswell as the pods and biscuits and a selection of tea and other stuff , which I thought was a nice touch. very clean and “homely “ place which was nice to come back to after a long day at work. felt very comfortable here
A lovely village on the edge of Dartmoor and Plymouth. Has a tesco express, Aldi, a couple of pubs and a few takeaways, we used Ridgeway pizza and Plympton fish bar, both were good meals for the price.
The hotel is in a nice rural location so make sure you have your own transport. The hotel leisure facilities are first rate so make sure you use them. We would have liked to use the spa but there were restrictive times due to the gym being refurbished. Bring your golf clubs because there is an excellent golf club on site. The food in the bar and the restaurant are very good which is very handy as you are out in the countryside. The rooms have been refurbished to a high standard and they are very spacious which makes a pleasant change
Not forthcoming or honest when cancellation requested. Suggested because it was busy bank holiday they had turned away customers and would loose out if they refunded us when in actual fact they had four similar rooms available at 17.47 hours??
We enjoyed our visit and the location allowed us to visit the moors and Plymouth easily. There is a park and ride to Plymouth though we didn't use it. It wasn't school holiday time so we had no problem with parking.
Great friendly staff. Food lovely, however, limited vegetarian options. Chef did make up a pasta dish on request and it was lovely, so definitely worth asking if you don’t like the couple of options. Breakfast great. Lovely location set in tranquil surroundings.
We have good friends locally so the purpose of our stay was to spend time with them. We visited the local sights : The Barbican and Royal William Yard etc. Lovely place. Next time I’ll bring the golf clubs.
