Located in Polperro, 1 mi from Lekerock Cove Beach, Penryn House Hotel features accommodations with a bar, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The guest house has family rooms. Penryn House was in a fantastic location just outside the main harbour in Polperro. The breakfast was amazing, the staff were all really friendly and our room was spotless! We’ll be back here for sure :)
Located in Polperro, The House on the Props offers accommodations with free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as a restaurant and a bar. The landlady was excellent, the view was out of this world, the room was fab, the cookies were nommy, the teatray was very well stocked, the honesty bar was a brilliant idea, the breakfast was delicious & the wedding anniversary card was a lovely gesture. Absolutely loved our stay 💕
Bambi Luxury Static Caravan is located in Polperro and offers a restaurant, a fitness center and a bar. The caravan has everything one needed for a good stay. The blind in the kitchen was broken, owner aware. I was disappointed by the bed in the 'children's' room as the mattress was so worn I had to sleep in the lounge. This meant my sleep was not good. The caravan has no views, but there are beautiful views outside the swimming pool area. I really enjoyed a daily swim, completely alone in the pool. Friendly bar staff and the eatery was good value.
Lannear Farm has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Polperro, 1.7 mi from Lekerock Cove Beach. A terrace can be found at the holiday home, along with a garden. Everything has been considered and wonderfully presented. Place was like new. Spotless. Met by host Barrie and also included a welcome hamper which was delightful. Also bread, butter, juices and milk in the fridge. Perfect. Thanks for a great property and best of luck.
The Cottles offers relaxed bed and breakfast accommodations in the beautiful Cornish fishing village of Polperro. Free WiFi access is available. We only stayed 2 nights there ,we enjoyed it a lot ,Room was so tidy and clean, comfy bed and very nice breakfast .very nice hosts and helpful We do recommend this place ,nice location
did not stay to long we went out came back all are things in the room had been moved upstairs . they said someone else had said they wanted the room what a horrible thing to happen we where very upset they should no what they booked so packed up and left .ma be if they had waited until we had returned it would of been better will not be going there again very very upset
A bit disappointed as you get to eat in some restaurants because of covid and not many places open we did spend every evening in the British legion club they were very friendly there was no activeties we just took long walks and took the bus to looe twice
Nice but not many shops open. Covid is an excuse now and some of pubs could do better. We know times have changed but treat us as adults. Expensive too. The Blue Peter Pub expensive drinks and in plastic...yuk. Come on...you want people to come back surely.
The place it's self was lovely. Not suitable for the elderly especially the hotel. No lift and steep norrow stairs. Location was nice. Covid made it harder to eat out at the pubs and restaurants longer waiting times or just couldn't get in. I enjoyed the stay but I wouldn't return as I wish to visit other places in Cornwall. Polperro has lovely history from being a fishing harbour. And there was plenty of visitors.
A handful of v nice pubs and restaurants to eat in. Roof terrace of Three Pilchards pub is fab. So many cute streets And harbour photos. (Watch out for seagulls if you get takeaways!) Amazing views on coastal path; 4.5 miles moderate walk East past Talland Bay beach , on to Looe (v pretty & nice beach). 9 miles strenuous walk on edge of Steeper Paths and hills Heading West to Fowey. Can halve it and head inland to Lansallos to catch bus. Limited but useful £3 bus in both directions. Foot ferry across to Fowey £4.50 return. Just turn up. Fowey bigger and more shopping. Not a good idea to drive small local roads. Car park with most hotels; leave it there , walk and use buses or taxis. £8half hour boat trip . £30 Return to Fowey or looe.
A beautiful seaside town, steeped in history. Everyone seemed to have a dog with them. It will be impossible to socially distance when walking around the town, the streets are very narrow. It is a fair walk from the carpark , which charges £12 for 24 hours.
