The flat was comfortable and a short walk to the promenade. It was the perfect place to stay to see the surrounding causeway coast.
The beds were a little soft for our liking but that is just a personal preference and not really a negative.

Loved being able to walk everywhere.
Loved being able to walk everywhere. Good bus service - easy travel into both Portrush and Coleraine. We travelled to Portstewart from home by both bus and train - it took us under two hours and we enjoyed not having to drive. Look forward to going back.

Portstewart is an absolute haven for all. Beautiful walks, beaches and food for every palate along the promenade. Relax with a coffee or a cold pint and sit and watch the world go by. Shopping brings fabulous bargains from quirky gifts to discounted outdoor wear. Also great bargains for many household items. Something to entertain all ages. Local parks to cliff walks or simply sitting on one of the dedicated seats along the promenade and take in the atmosphere. A gem of the North Coast.

Portstewart is lovely.
Portstewart is lovely. Had afternoon drinks in the Anchor bar and returned in the evening for lovely steaks. Lively spot with great live band playing. Plenty of room outside too. Taxi home was difficult to get but doorman assisted us.
Had ice cream in Morelli's too. Lovely.
Refreshing walk around the outside of the Convent with stunning views. (although lots of steps)

Beautiful main street with the sea on one side and shops (...
Beautiful main street with the sea on one side and shops (mainly cafes) on the other. Very relaxing place to be in. Little harbour to one end is an extra sight. Walk from other end round to the strand just nice length away for the able bodied.
Wonderful get together with family. A gorgeous house with lovely sea views and well considered facilities. Only a few minutes walk to Portstewart promenade. Although the weather was beautiful, in the evening we enjoyed the cosiness of the gas fire in the lounge. The luxurious jacuzzi bath is also a very nice touch. Really spacious, such comfortable beds and good sized bathrooms. Absolutely spotlessly clean. Host was very helpful and immediately responded when we asked for restaurant recommendations.
Great location within walking distance to Portstewart. Portrush is a few miles away but is still walkable along the coastline. Rick is a fantastic friendly host and will make you feel at home. The bedoom was big and bright with an ensuite. We had access to the kitchen and separate living room area which had toys that our small boy loved.
This hotel was easy to get to. The staff were friendly and helpful - thank you everyone - and the facilities were good. We appreciated the large size of the room. Breakfasts were tasty and generous, almost too much so. We would be very happy to stay there again.
Full marks to the Anchor Inn in every way! The staff were very helpful, the service were excellent, the bed was so comfortable, and I had the biggest breakfast ever, all for a very fair and reasonable price! I reckon it's the best deal in Northern Ireland. 😊
Mimie was very welcoming and accommodating, gave us a lot of advice around the local area. Room was very well furnished and clean, would definitely come back next time I’m in Northern Ireland.
