The apartment itself and the location were perfect as was the communication with the host. The free car parking is a real bonus. It’s easy to find, if you miss it you just drive one more circle. It’s only a one minute walk from the apartment, The space is a little tight, but definitely doable if you follow the host’s instructions.

Lovely, comfortable relaxing quiet place to stay. The annexe is done out beautifully, exceptionally clean, with all the creature comforts. If you want to stay near the coast without the hassle of hotel check in/out's, NCP carparks or on street parking etc, i would choose here everytime. We will definitely be returning again. It really is a little gem of a place for a peaceful stay.

A big, warm, (central heating works very well), comfortable, first floor of a big quiet house, well kept & well lit apartment (decor a little tired in places, but not a problem), situated close to seafront , with two spacious bedrooms with wardrobes, double beds comfortable, spacious lounge/dining room airy, relaxing & calm, extremely well equipped kitchen & milk, teabags, sugar etc provided, long hall leads down 5 steps to kitchen & bathroom & additional separate toilet, if you have mobility problem be aware steps are a bit steep-one of us had hip replacements but this really wasn't a problem and we would happily stay here again,; bright kitchen with small table & two chairs, tea towels, crockery, cutlery, pots pans etc, household cleaners & wash up liquid provided, dishwasher, instant hot water, nice bathroom with shower over quite low bath, although could do with extractor fan to counter excess moisture, lots of towels & bath mats, shampoos, shower gel, handwash, provided, (take a rubber non slip bath mat with you if you have mobility problems), and washing machine in cupboard. The other big bonus is that this flat comes with an allotted parking space close by: very rare in Brighton & Hove. Flat is close by shops, mini-markets and a vast selection of restaurants and cafes in Church Road. A gentle 45 minute stroll along the seafront will take you to Brighton Pier. We met our host who was friendly and helpful.

    A lovely place to stay in a beautiful part of the country, The owners were very friendly and the room had everything we could have wanted - plus a side-view of the downs, particularly beautiful in the early morning. Local pub just a few metres away. While we were there, we observed a walker being offered a lift to the South Downs Way. Excellent private parking off-road.

    Friendly greeting from Mike the owner on arrival, who looked after us well throughout our stay. Very comfortable, clean room, easy parking and delicious breakfast. We would thoroughly recommend this B and B if you are exploring the beautiful area of the South Downs.

    Easy to get a private parking place at the property, check in very friendly and thorough. Breakfast preference booked on check in with preferred menu and time. Room very cosy and compact. Bed very comfy with extra pillows and blankets in a wardrobe if needed. Shower very good and water hot. Lots of toiletries available and slippers! Very welcoming and enjoyable stay. Lovely pub across the road (The Royal Oak) serving excellent food.
