Best experience I had while traveling around Scotland. Such a nice hotel in this cute little Scottish village. The room was spacious, with a full mini bar and everything you needed. Both shower and bathtub in the bathroom. I really enjoyed my stay here.

Parkhead House was so lovely. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment with our kids. We only got to stay one night but I would love to have stayed longer. The breakfast was really amazing! So many choices and all very well prepared. We arrived a little late in the evening and James offered to drive us to the Pub (and pick us up after) where we had dinner reservations which was a huge help since we had just arrived and were tired and still learning to drive on the left side of the road.

The location was superb, overlooking the Firth of Forth and the iconic Edinburgh bridges. There was an excellent shoreline walk to Cramond along well defined roadways and paths. The Hawes Inn was ideally located for boat tours from the pier and the railway station allowed for regular trains to and from the centre of Edinburgh. Queensferry has a lovely centre with old buildings and a cobbled street. We stayed for 3 nights and that was about right for the sights that we wanted to see. The town centre has one-way traffic, which made ambling along and viewing the buildings and shops a pleasure. There is a chip shop, places to purchase ice cream and confections and a bakery, plus pubs and restaurants; everything needed for a short break.
The historic village of Queensferry has a very picturesque high street with buildings dating back to 1600’s. Overlooking the Firth of Forth, the views are captivating and ever-changing with wind and weather as well as sail boats and ships. A good selection of eateries from fish & chips to fine dining. There is a good supermarket as well as smaller local shops (bakery, newsagent etc ). Regular buses in to Edinburgh city, and boat trips out from the pier.
Beautiful seaside town on the Firth of Forth with fabulous views of all 3 Forth bridges. The village has some wonderful restaurants and traditional Scottish pubs and is just a short train ride or drive from Edinburgh. Excellent location for a weekend break.
Check in was easy. Taxi was on time (5:45am) Price seemed right. Rooms and lobby WAY too dark (very strange). No wifi, but maybe had to pay? It advertised airport/train transfers but only during the week, scheduled and certain times. Sent about 5 emails to book a reservation at the restaurant, probably because there is nothing around the hotel but a grocery store.
south Queensferry is a quaint town with many shops and restaurants. It's a short car or taxi ride away from Edinburgh. By public transport is slightly trickier, as you need to take the bus (not train station). Great views of the three bridges. Short ride from Edinburgh Airport.
Queensferry is a very pretty town, so just walking down the Main Street is lovely. The river is beautiful, with the bridges at close view. We enjoyed a boat ride down the river. The monastery is well worth a visit. There is a string of good restaurants at the pier. We have tried several and they were all good.
The room was spacious and spotless. Staff were attentive and check in/check out super easy. The toiletries provided were lovely, and the bathroom was large, with a great shower - very clean. The location is great if you're there to relax, lots of cute cafes and nice restaurants around. There is also free parking not too far from the hotel. Views are stunning! Overall, this is a lovely place to stay if you're looking for a place to relax and explore queensferry. It has an excellent place to enjoy a drink with a lovely view!

The location at South Queensferry is stunningly beautiful on a nice night & the staff in the hotel were lovely. The rooms are decorated really tastefully & the indoor bar is nice & cosy for evening drinks.

See above. Carole made us more than welcome and brought extra logs for the fire. South Queensferry is a perfect spot, easy walkable access to Dalmeny Station for a 20 minute trip to Edinburgh.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit darker and the rooms as well so I was not used to that. The comments made by other guests are accurate but overall pleasant stay.
Queensferry
Location exceptional. House has character. Hosts extremely friendly and helpful. Abercorn estate and surroundings lovely. Good base for seeing Scotland especially Edinburgh.
The location was excellent in Queensferry but was also only 18 minutes by train from Edinburgh which ran regularly throughout the day.
