Offering mountain views, Milntown Self Catering Apartments in Ramsey offers accommodation, a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. The apartment features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Very friendly and helpful host. High quality furnishings in the very comfortable apartments. They are very quiet and look out over the walled garden. Gardens are nice to walk round in the evenings, full of camelias at the moment. Bus stop right outside the house entrance with very regular bus service so great for exploring the island. There was a supper and bingo night in the house while we were there which was great fun and very popular.

From the moment we met our hosts we were made to feel welcome. The accommodation was spectacular - every detail perfect. We will definitely book this property again and also recommend to our family and friends.

Situated 21 km from TT Grandstand, Ballacowell offers a garden, a shared lounge and accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. The hotel owner is a very kind lady. She treated guest as the same as treating with her family members. All facilities are perfect and I had a great time living there!
Ballacowell Cottage in Sulby provides accommodation with free WiFi, 22 km from Laxey Wheel, 34 km from Castle Rushen and 5.3 km from Isle of Man Motor Museum. Wonderful cottage in the middle of the Isle of Man. We had a great Christmas celebration. The house was perfect with everything one could wish for. We could park right in front of the main door. The kitchen is right next to the large dining room. A very cozy living room with TV and smart TV options, even a fireplace! Great shower and bath tub. Comfy beds. Everything was perfect!
We visited in January to deliver some very rare motorcycles to the Motor Museum. Hence most of Ramsey facilities were shut. Not a problem as we were not expecting anything else. What we did see was enough to encourage a trip in the spring or summer as the views on the island are beautiful.
We went to IOM for trains and transport. We enjoyed but IOM still in 1970's. Shops close early and they still have early closing. Trains stop running at 4.30 but luckily buses run late. Not a holiday for young families.
Nice small seaside town, not a lot to do but a good base for the north of the island. The villages round about have an excellent range of eating places but need looking for. Ramsey is the sunniest place on the Island and with Manx weather it needs to be.
Very comfy room and a high standard bathroom. Cleanliness excellent. Beachside location and quiet. Free and spacious parking. Friendly and helpful staff, despite the fact that they were under pressure and some were new. The hotel needs windows that open a little further and/or air conditioning - although we understand the windows are in line with the law.
Ramsey was very pleasant. There was very little to do there of an evening and even less places to eat. Despite this being early in the season I would have expected that more take aways and restaurants would have been open evenings and at weekends. There were a lot of early motor bike fans arriving for the TT along with other guests, with no choice of places to eat. I think the local supermarket was the only place open ( or petrol Station). Ramsey Council's decision to be so against dogs in the area was a real disappointment. There were signs everywhere refusing dogs entry. Finding places to walk our dog was a challenge.
Ramsey is a beautiful town in the north if the isle of man. Perfect for exploring with a lovely selection of local shops and eateries if you want to stay in town. A walk along the promenade is highly recommended.
.The location, convenient for walking into Ramsey yet outside the centre in a quiet road overlooking the Mooragh Park and across to the sea.Car owners needn't worry about a spot to park and there's no need to stay in Douglas. Simon and Jenny are great hosts and provide a comfortable place to stay, along with good service and an excellent breakfast.
Our apartment was spotlessly clean, well equipped, tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. Miltown was very easy to find and the setting is gorgeous. We loved the fact that we could walk round the beautiful gardens. The location is easy walking distance to Ramsey and local amenities.
