Nothing at all to fault. Really lovely location with very comfortable bed. The bathroom was great with a big bath and shower that had good pressure. Nice toiletries to use and warm fluffy towels. We really enjoyed the pool and spa too. I personally felt that the rooms in the new building were nicer. They were definitely bigger with a garden view too. We stayed in room 16 which was fab!

We've stayed at this hotel before as it is one of our favourites. We all agreed this was the best, due to the professionalism, charm & attitude of all the staff. Beds are really, really comfy. The food has also improved and our breakfasts & meal were delicious. Spa & pool great. I particularly love the candles and the scent as you enter the hotel. At this time of year the roaring fires are lit early so we were tempted to sit in the bar all day! It means it all feels really relaxing & welcoming.

The Buffet at breakfast was very good with a variety of choice. however, I do think that teas and coffees should be served in teapots and coffee containers instead of self service. It would also be nice for toast to be served instead of having to wait in line to use the toaster.
