The owners have clearly thought about the people who would be staying here and have made it so comfortable. A home away from home. Would 100% recommend.

I stayed at Hill Park Hotel. I had all my meals in the hotel restaurant. Very reasonable prices. I went into the Hotels' public bar where I watched sport (rugby) with some of the punters, while others played pool. Great environment with lovely staff. There is a Take-Away shop just round the corner (same building as the hotel) Driving around was very easy. I also got to visit the local shops where there is a GREGGS, NISA and a SHELL garage. All these are within a 5minute walk from Hill Park Hotel. Although I travelled in a private car, I did notice a regular bus service on the roads of Rosyth which I imagined made public commuting quite easy.
Rosyth has nothing really to offer other than this hotel but it very close to Dunfermline which has great restaurants and pubs. There is an Indian restaurant within 5 minutes walk of the hotel but we didn't try it. The bus trip to Edinburgh was 25 mins (approx) on the X55 route. Bus stop was 5 minutes walk away.
A small Fife town with plenty of pubs and some shopping. Useful location as a stopover if going south and not wanting to pay Edinburgh prices on the other side of the Forth. Also very easy access to Dunfermline which has a lot of history and is well worth a longer visit.
Rosyth is not a tourist destination in and of itself, but does offer a convenient setting off pint and base for overnight stays, breakfast and evening meals. It is well within commuting distance of every local point of interest and rail stations.
There are many things to do there. Where Edinburgh was just across the water. Or entertainment plaza about a 15 minuet bus ride away. Great take outs on every corner. It help to know people there as I did. Got the whole local tour. Made things much easier. Would love to go again
Good location for ehat we were after, we were looking for somewhere close to Ingliston, but didn't want to stay in Edinburgh. 20minutes away in car, plenty of bus routes to edinburgh and dumfries.
