We felt as if we were on holiday. Warm sunny weather helped. Had a good drink and plenty of mini donuts at Bills. Spent more than we should have at a clothes shop but that's what weekend breaks are about.
We were given a room that we thought wasn't what we had booked, but hotel upgaded us, so we were truly thankful for that.Food in restaurant was good, they were, like everywhere else a little understaffed in the Bar.We woud come again.
This hotel is of a high quality and staff wore masks and were friendly and helpful. Our room though not the biggest had a queen size bed fittings were of a high quality and bathroom had everything you would need including an excellent powerful hot shower. Free parking and the grounds are very pretty for walks. the Pantiles are a 10 minute walk and 281 bus will take you there the bus stop right outside hotel. The town is a 20 to 40 minute walk depending which wat you go, overall a very good hotel for what we paid
Lived there for some years. First visit for about 10 years lot of new restaurants. Site of old cinema had been demolished and remained boarded up in centre of town. Parking difficult traffic always very heavy in all directions. Ivy restaurant very busy, pricy but the best with the exception of Thackery.
It was a short trip and we spent very little time in the town. The Pantiles and surrounding area is lovely. The more "chain shop" end of town is very disappointing and looks really quite shabby
It is very hilly. The interesting old part, The Pantiles, is in a pedestrianised part at the bottom of a hill, so we weren't able to visit, due to my elderly mother being unable to walk back up the hill.
We were called beforehand to tell us that the kitchen was closed due to Covid. So we were not allowed in the public areas. The skeleton staff were very helpful but the price of the hotel includes access to the other spaces, so it didn’t feel worth the money. ‘Luckily’ the toilet in our room didn’t flush so we got an upgrade to a much larger room with a fabulous view. It would have been pretty desolate if we’d had to stay in the small room overlooking the road!

Wonderful. What a little gem. Peter an Ann were so welcoming. This neat and quiet B&B has a real home-from-home feel to it. The room was clean, tidy and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, much better than most other B&B or hotels what would have charged much more. As an added bonus, whilst having breakfast, you can look out onto their delightful garden which they manage themselves. I look forward to staying again when I'm in the area.

Studio Acorn is absolutely lovely, very comfortable and very clean and had everything we needed. It is in a very quiet location along a private road but within walking distance of the common, Pantiles, Food places, shopping. Parks, we even walked to Dunorlan Park and back. The bed is very comfortable we both had a great nights sleep. We wanted a quiet couple of days to get away from busy life and we found it here at Acorn Studio. Thank you.
Room was very comfortable and slept well. Breakfast was top notch and probably the best I have had. Also it was very quiet and accessibility to the town centre was great. Great stay to celebrate our Son and Daughter in law wedding at the High Rocks, Steve the Hotel Manager helped with sticking the ribbons to my car and will always be grateful and wont forget. Will definitely return for a weekend away in the future.

We loved this little place. Our hosts were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The apartment had everything we needed and more. It was well located as there are many attractions in the countryside around it, and the living area let us relax in comfort when we returned. After hotel-ing for 2 weeks, we welcomed self catering!
The triple room was large with plenty of storage, it was clean and the shower was good. The staff on reception were very friendly. The hotel was near to the town centre and walking distance to the Pantiles. The hotel was quiet overnight. We liked the complimentary toiletries & hot drinks.

The hotel is very clean and has the feelgood factor for us. It is in a nice quiet location but walkable to the shops and Pantiles.
The hotel is on the Pantiles which used to be a very classy area of Tunbridge Wells and which still has a very lively night life.
