The rooms are set out (literally) on the Bay, with balconies overlooking the marina. There are swans! It is all very agreeable and comfortable. Staff extend a warm welcome. Cogan station allows easy transport into Cardiff. Penarth (uphill - but there is Uber) is also worth exploring, as is the Barrage. There are a next-door cafe, local public houses and, a short walk away, a large Tesco to supply other needs. It was my first time to visit Cardiff. I am delighted that I happened upon this place to stay.

Everything. The hotel was brand new, there were hangers for the towels and clothes, the room is well lit, the staff provided a second luggage rack, which was so nice. The bathroom was brand new, with a glorius walk in shower, plenty of water, very comfy bed, we had a lovely night and waking up. Breakfast was fine.
