With beautiful sea views, Warpool Court Hotel offers well-appointed rooms on the West Wales coast. Every staff person we encountered was cheerful, cordial and anxious to serve. Our room had the most magnificent view of St. Bride's Bay and Irish Sea, with a vista of the surrounding pastures. The entire area exuded a spirit of tranquility and contentment.

Cute town with good public transportation for the coast trail. We stayed 4 nights and that was perfect. We took the bus to do Porthgain to Whitesands and returned to town by bus. We explored town and shops on the rain day and then went to the south and took the buses to hike St Nons to St Justinians on the following day.
A visit to the cathedral is a must. The little chocolate shop is also worth a visit. Very nice friendly lady serving. If you are ok with boats a trip around Ramsay island is really interesting and the skipper and guide were excellent. Finally a visit to white sands beach and a walk along the coastal path is an absolute must. All in all a great day.
It's a lovely city; a big cathedral and very impressive ruined Bishop's palace. We went into the Bishop's Place restaurant; it was noisy and all the tables were reserved. Went to a hotel restaurant nearby - name has to do with St. David's Cross as the cross is right in front. Food and service there were superb. St. David's was highly recommended to me but as charming old English/Welsh cities go, I would rate it OK. Not a place I would choose to spend a lot of vacation time at.
Been to St David's a few times. This time was specifically for walking and enjoying New Year's Eve. Excellent access to coastal path for very scenic walking. Well sign posted. Good pubs and Bishops's serving good food. St David's cathedral is well worth a visit too.
Somewhat disappointed, We knew it was a small City, but it turned out to be not much bigger than a large village or small town. There were virtually no shops and there were very few resturants open in the evenings, in fact, the City appeared to go to sleep about 8.00pm.
A pleasant , old fashioned type of city. Good beaches nearby, places of interest surround the town within reasonable distance. A haven for keen walkers and nature lovers and good and plentiful eating places from pub to cafe/restaurants.

Breakfast is amazing! You can choose several kinds of hot breakfast (English / Welsh / vegitarian etc..) My recommendation is definitely Welsh breakfast which is a bit unusual but super tasty with some fresh seafood from the market. Also staffs are amzingly kind. They recommended some nice places near St. Davids to visit and it was incredibly great. All the facilities are clean well maintainanced and also place are super safe. You can also walk to the supermarket (1mins) + city centre (10mins).

Quiet location, within walking distance of St. Davids. Great spot to explore the Pembrokeshire coast. Staff were very friendly & had great local knowledge. Breakfast was excellent, rooms were quiet with great views. Not recommended for children as nothing much in the area for them to do. Would certainly stay again when in the area.

VERY basic, no-frills room; but comfortable enough, our room was right above the kitchen, so fairly noisy late with the windows open. However, dinner in the restaurant was SPECTACULAR!! I had the lamb...I seriously wanted to lick the plate. Also, you absolutely cannot beat he location of this hotel.

Bed very comfortable. Breakfast excellent. (Better than the Welcome Hotel Stratford that I stayed in last weekend, by a mile.) Easy parking. Shop and petrol next door. Attentive family run. Very near St. Davids. Great local knowledge from the owners. Did I mention the great breakfast.?

We had the hotel to ourselves. The service was excellent, attentive without being intrusive. Dinner was lovely with a selection of lovely dishes despite our being the only diners, and breakfast was great. Lovely room and lounge, a real home from home. Will definitely return.

Shaun and Suzanne were the most gracious of hosts. The room is very well-appointed, with high quality toiletries, and the bed and bedding are wonderful. Shaun’s breakfasts were the best we’ve had all week, and Suzanne was stellar with hike and restaurant ideas!
