Hotels near Saint Fagans

Just a 10-minute drive from Cardiff city center, The Laurels Bed and Breakfast offers accommodations with free parking and Wi-Fi. The Laurels is situated in St Fagans which is on the outskirts of Cardiff. It was very easy to get a taxi into the centre, and cheaper and nicer than staying there. There is a pub around the corner which serves good basic pub food. We went to Cardiff to watch the rugby and The Laurels was a great base. The museum next door is very well worth a visit as well. We needed to spend longer there, so are intending to return at some point. Julie, who runs The Laurels was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were well furnished and the breakfasts were very good.

Offering easy access in less than 30 minutes by car to Cardiff International Airport, this waterside hotel is just 10 minutes’ drive from Cardiff’s lively city center. The staff were incredibly helpful. TV had casting capabilities so made for better entertainment.

The studio unit is very clean and modern with everything you need for your stay. It’s perfectly placed near public transport for a short trip into the city. The place is a real hidden gem and will definitely stay next time we visit Cardiff if it’s available!!!
