Just outside Bembridge, St Helens Coastal Resort offers luxury caravans with free on-site parking. This Isle of Wight holiday park has an outdoor swimming pool and some units have hot tubs. The outdoor swimming pool was lovely and heated - with a baby section! It was lovely to swim outdoors in the morning sunshine!
views from the cottage were a delight, lovely walks to the sea and inland. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Bus route very near .Pubs and eateries locally (good sea food) Close enough to walk to Bembridge. (House-boats en route were interesting)
A really well kept village. Plenty of walks and a reliable bus service although buses only run hourly. A nice friendly pub on the village green with reasonably priced good food. Only two restaurants not so reasonably priced but I believe serve good food. It suited us as we are quite happy to eat at home and there is a Tesco superstore within 10min drive and also local farm shops. We felt welcome and would visit again.
Really lovely resort so quiet ,lovely view outside ,nice outdoor swimming pool really lovely lodge no shop on site but one just down the road , only thing couldn't get the wi fi to work but everything else perfect looking already to book again next year
The comfort of the caravan exceeded our expectations. The shower was brilliant. The bed comfortable. The smart big tv a nice surprise. No shop on site which was fine for us but might be a problem for people with no transport. We didn’t swim but went to see how warm the pool was and it was warm. This was in September. A beach nearby we only found on the last day nobody mentioned so ask.
A lovely family friendly location, reminds me of Areas of Cornwall, surrounded by quant towns and villages with excellent pubs and food. I recommend walking around to Priory Bay... A perfect get away
A lovely village with a huge green to enjoy in the centre. A couple of restaurants and a public house 'The Vine' that serves food and has entertainment at times. Being an old village, parking is difficult with many cars parked in the street so that travelling through requires caution. However, there is a car park in the centre that is easy to locate and is free. Lots of lovely walks and easy to walk to 'The Duver' with a cafe, seats to watch the sailing and views to Bembridge and Seaview as well as the beach to enjoy, fabulous for families all far from the maddening crowds. There are two car parks at the Duver, one of which is National Trust, so free to members.
