Lots of sites to visit within easy walking distance of the harbour. The Georgian House, Maritime Museum and Elizabeth Castle were all fabulous places to visit. We enjoyed our ride on Le Petit Train to St Aubin's Bay and back. We found fabulous cafes - our favourite was Cafe Paraiso. Our favourite restaurant was The Rigatoni. The bus service to visit different parts of the island was absolutely excellent. As we did not hire a car we had to rely on buses.
As we did not hire a car we had to rely on buses. We bought a weeks pass this saved a lot of money. The bus service is very good and easy to negotiate. St Helier is a beautiful town. The streets are kept clean, I saw no rubbish anywhere. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants. If you like shopping there is a plentiful supply to choose from.Guest review byPatricia - 8.0

St Helier is very changed over the last few decades with the presence of the many finance buildings but some of its old stores and markets are still there and pubs and restaurants have survived which is lovely to see. while we were there it was fairly busy, but nice to see shops still being used not boarded up, there was a great choice of pub/restaurants there but a lot of walking does take place in order to find what you may be looking for. there are plenty of benches for you to take a break on though. there are plenty of parks, and the esplanade area is a nice way to have a stroll and an ice cream or drinks.Guest review byAnonymous
