Very nice, clean and quiet. Not as chocolate boxy as Hastings Old Town but it all feels like part of the same town. The beach is very clean and scenic. It's hillier than the old town giving it extra character. The Marina Building is a great example of 1930s architecture albeit on the simpler style than the usual Art Deco buildings of the same period.
Lovely warm atmosphere, friendly helpful staff that were efficient without being intrusive. Received a warm welcome and stayed in a lovely room with great facilities and views. Hotel situated close to all amenities and about a ten minute drive from Bexhill so you're right in the heart of the town without all the hustle.
St. Leonard’s is a really lovely seaside town with far reaching views. The choice of places to eat was amazing and the Old town has a really vibrant nightlife. We used a couple of taxis to get about and couldn’t believe how reasonable the cost was. As we only had a very short stay, we didn’t get enough time to explore much more. All the more reason to return for a second visit, but for longer next time!!
The town and sea front are lovely - recommend Oscars to eat. Large portions, friendly staff, a real hidden gem. Look out for the ‘cruise ship’ building. Hastings also nice but more commercialised - and no statue of the soldier with the seagull either !!
An incredible town, spacious and beautiful and full of hidden surprises. Graze on Grand for food, Norman Road for galleries, The Mount and West Hill for houses to buy and it’s neighbouring park for secluded nature.
It's OK but most of the attractions are a ten minute walk away in Hastings new and old town. Full of pubs, cafes, restaurants, amusements, crazy golf kids rides, museum etc. and the Pier and shopping centre. Not forgetting car parks. On the road parking free after 6pm.
