The hotel is a part of a larger camping area with mobilhomes around. Surroundings are fine but nothing really special for a camping of this sort. Nice calm place in a village. The room was decent, of a decent size and clean, nothing bad to say. The restaurant serves decent English breakfast with variations and option at a reasonable price. The bar is a typical village pub with locals watching footbal at the evening.
Located in Deal and with Deal Castle Beach reachable within a 2-minute walk, Queen Street Tap has a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar.

Everything, just be warned we stayed Thursday, it is there in the welcome email that there will be loud music as it is above a working bar, other than that perfect!
Striking and modern, The Marquis of Granby is a former village pub that offers contemporary dining and chic rooms, all amid beautiful Kent countryside near Dover, Folkestone, Canterbury and Ashford.

Lovely stay! Beautifully decorated room, wee bit crowded for two or I’d give it a “10.” The staff was DELIGHTFUL and very accommodating. Good breakfast!!!
Would definitely recommend!
Set in peaceful landscaped gardens, Holiday Inn Dover is just 10 minutes from Dover’s bustling Ferry Port and famous White Cliffs. It has free parking, a gym, and a themed restaurant.
This family-run guest house has won multiple awards and is the only accommodations provider in Dover with 4 stars and the much coveted Gold Award.

Very friendly hostess. Huge and delicious breakfast. I had booked a small room, but was upgraded to a huge room. Located about midway between the train station (about a 15 min. walk) and the castle (less than 15 min. walk). Just a few minutes’ walk to the shore, with a Marks & Spencer Foodhall and lots of restaurants right nearby. A very comfortable and enjoyable stay; I would like to go back again.
The Norman Guest House is a friendly, family-run Victorian bed and breakfast across from Dover Priory Train Station. It offers free parking and free Wi-Fi.

great location for a weekend break away from kids/job/...
great location for a weekend break away from kids/job/routine and time to take stock of life. We;d hoped to enjoy visiting the local beach and do some coastal walks ........ but the persistent horizontal rain put paid to that so fortunately we'd brought some sporty gear so could make good use of the gym. The property charges £10 for being shown the equipment in the gym ( compulsory ) which i did think a little cheeky but if it prevents time-wasting and meaning the gym is only being frequented by people actually wanting to use it then maybe its a good thing

Booked a room at the hotel , went to check in to find out we were double booked and no room at Hotel. was put in a caravan, a dirty caravan with so many spiders on the ceiling. Staff weren't helpful or apologetic at all. Facilities weren't nice restaurant had stains all over carpet. Not a good place to keep kids entertained. Really needs some money put into site.

We had to charge room in the middle of the night as there was a baby crying for 2 hours. I called the security manager (John) and he assisted us. He checked to see if there was any rooms available. We changed room and the service was amazing. I checked out late too.

The site is nice and the hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. The on site restaurant is ok although choice is limited for main meals. The first day no breakfast was available as the chef was sick. So we had to drive into Dover. It mucked up our schedule a bit but not the end of the world. Great location for exploring. The South Forland lighthouse is worth a visit. A little trek to get there from the road, but worth it. The main promenade of Dover is ok and also the same with Folkstone. Visit Samphire Hoe just between Dover and Folkstone. Beautiful scenery, the pebbly beech and the amazing cliffs right in front of you.

Most of the staff at the hotel were very friendly- reception in the evening and in the morning were friendly and the morning reception person was full of useful advice and helped us when we had no breakfast by telling us where to get some, and at the swimming pool the staff was lovely. The swimming pool was open in the morning which was great.
I booked a 4 night stay in the hotel with my daughter because we were visiting family and it’s location is central to them all. We just used it as a base to sleep and shower although we did use the pool and bar once. It was reasonably priced, basic but clean and beds were reasonably comfy. We like St Margaret’s as an area.
The bedroom was clean. The beds were comfortable. The parking was very close and secure. There were security staff at hand 24 hours a day. The bath water was very hot. The hotel was cheap, so we got what we paid for.
Excellent service at the resort and on the phone. Cannot fault it at all. The hotel accommodation was brilliant, the restaurant food was delicious, the entertainment was ENTERTAINING. Brilliant weekend.
