The hotel is not fully obliged to answer the transportation difficulties encountered by guests, but the response given to me by the staff member of this hotel named Trond is a textbook example of customer service. He listed in detail the current operating status of each ferry company on this route and gave me the option of flying. The names and information of each ferry company and airline he mentioned were very accurate and exactly the same as what I had learned before. In the end, I found a piece of information about Newspaper Boat in his answer, which helped me travel from Guernsey to Jersey without delaying the subsequent trip. Thank you very much!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and also warm, which was good because the weather outside was absolutely foul! (Remember storm Darragh?) Breakfast was very nice, though the pricing on the menu had me wondering how much breakfast was actually going cost, until the waiter enlightened me that I was on an inclusive deal so it was just one set price no matter what I had.

Lovely cobbled, pedestrian only shopping areas, interesting shops, however certain areas on a hill, so some people may struggle with this. Found a lovely cafe with great food overlooking harbour. However the down side and we should have done our homework before we went, is that you need to buy a clock card that u put in the window of your car, denoting when u arrived, it is cheap and u can get it from your hotel or an information centre and probably other places, as far as we could see some parking gave u only 1 hour others even less so we used a taxi.

Plenty to do , the military museum, Cornet castle together with plenty of shops. We had a sandwich and drink at the excellent boathouse, there are also plenty of other restaurants along the front. Ferries to and from the islands of Herm and Sark are also available .

A lovely old town, which gives a good first impression of Guernsey as a whole. A very interesting history, so well worth doing the guided walking tour, meeting at the visitor information centre. Plenty of places to eat and a pleasant ambience. Well worth a visit.

Easy to walk around. Clean. Easy access for day trips to the isles of Herm and Sark for reasonable ferry prices. Lovely to walk around the marina/harbours. Candie garden is a lovely under-visited garden for an oasis of calm. Probably a preferred destination for the more mature traveler.

It is a lovely place to stay and enjoy or use as a base to explore other other islands with convenient ferry connections and flights. Take bus 91 or 92 for a round trip. Bus connections are excellent, and at £1.60 a ride or £10 day/£11 two days bus pass, it's its a great way to explore the sights. Visit the Little Chapel and Les Caches farm. Eat at the Christies Brasserie or grab a coffee from the hatch near the town bus terminus. It is safe and comfortable and people are nice and friendly.

The room was superb, the food was delicious, the bar was great, and the location for the centre of St Peter Port was excellent. However the thing that did it for us was the staff. There could not be such a lovely, happy, helpful bunch in any other hotel. Every one of them had a smile on their face all the time, and would go beyond what you would expect, to make you feel happy. We thank and salute all of them.
