The award-winning St Brides Spa Hotel is perched above Saundersfoot Harbor in Pembrokeshire National Park. Such a wonderful stay. Beautiful hotel. Far better than the photos show. Didn’t have dinner in the hotel but if the breakfasts were anything to go by I’m sure they were top quality too. Spa was excellent too - fab back massage by Ashley and the infinity pool superb!

Located on the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast, Merlewood Hotel is a 10-minute walk from Saundersfoot Harbor. With impressive sea views and free parking, there is also a swimming pool and restaurant. A wonderful warm welcome on arrival, really friendly helpful staff. A spacious hotel a very interesting place. The pool and pool area was lovely. The breakfast was adequate.

Saundersfoot and the surrounding area is lovely.
Saundersfoot and the surrounding area is lovely. Beautiful beaches and coastal walks. There are a variety of cafes and restaurants but booking ahead is essential. There are plenty of interesting places in the surrounding area to visit including Caldey Island. There are many opportunities for water sports - in particular paddle boarding and canoeing for all ages. Bike hire is also available. We would definitely return to Saundersfoot.

I spent my childhood on holidays in this area so I knew what to expect . Take away and eat in prices very dear but there was a cracking chip shop in Kilgetty around 40% cheaper well worth the little excursion

Visiting Saundersfoot at end of COVID was a very pleasant experience. The area was clean, friendly and beautiful. The only down side was restaurant availability, as just opening up from lockdown low staffing levels meant booking in advance to most restaurants was required.

Saundersfoot is a small harbour town with all the amenities you need. It is clean with plenty of parking. Food was good and plentiful. A good mix of shops and pubs. Tesco and Spar in the centre provide cheap shopping for Self Catering.

Nice little town but parking quickly gets full. A number of pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes & budgets - but suggest book in advance as many were fully booked before our Bank Holiday week visit. Each evening there were queues at all take-aways. If staying in town then parking at property is a must. A number of hotels are up steep hill away from the sea-front and harbour (there is a tuk-tuk taxi)

Lovely beaches with plenty of room to chill or take part in the water sports. Enjoyed paddle boarding, instructors and staff at Good Trails friendly and helpful. Fantastic food (especially the waffles) from The Tramway Cafe with Chobbles traditional sweet shop next door.

From $136 per nightWe had a lovely week staying here. The property was very clean & welcoming on arrival. There are wooden floors everywhere which I really like. There is a good outdoor space with a little breakfast patio table & chairs & also a rear garden patio with table chairs & comfy whisker style chairs which is secure. I really enjoyed these spaces. We’d be very happy to stay here again! Parking was available too. The location is perfect for visiting Saundersfoot with its idyllic beach & quaint shops.

Location is fantastic with plenty of areas to walk the dogs, away from busy roads. The beach directly below the House was gorgeous and only a short 5 minute walk away. We highly recommend Cwmwennol Country House for any family wishing to stay in an ideal location situated between Saundersfoot and Tenby with their dogs.

Like so many places, they are struggling with staff shortages - but doing their level best. The hotel is well-positioned close to shops, restaurants and the main beach.

We had a room with a sea view which was great. There was a good variety for breakfast and the portion sizes were very good. The staff were all really friendly and made us feel very welcome. The location of the hotel in Saundersfoot was great albeit a bit steep on the walk back up the hill.
