    A very quaint fishing village, lots of lovey shops , good restaurants and coffee shops , plenty of parking down at the harbour , local people very friendly Lewis’s is a must visit if you love fish and chips, Insieme restaurant is a must visit , superb food, great service I can recommend the Sea Bass - Farne gift shop has everything you could ever need on holiday - The National Trust Shop is a must visit , great gifts even had art materials.. happy days for an artist like me - Serenity Boat Tours a must visit

    Lovely village but can get crowded at weekends and Bank Holidays. Harbour provides access to the Farne Islands. Plenty of shops for groceries and greengroceries. Nice fresh fish shop hidden in the back streets. Interesting pubs.

    Seahouses is a small resort in an excellent location.

    Seahouses is a small resort in an excellent location. A small harbour with the Farne Islands only a mile off the coast. It is 3 miles from Bamburgh with its famous castle and magnificent beach. An excellent base for the Northumberland coastal trail, with castles and villages we'll worth a visit.

    Fantastic location - small and compact with a good choice of places to eat, drink, beaches, boat trips. Good base for Alnwick, Bamburgh, Beadnell, Craster. The Olde Ship great for food, as was The Black Swan.

    Seahouses is a small but nice place for a short visit with a lovely beach and nature walks. The local restaurants are mainly Fish and Chips shops with limited alternatives. The majority of restaurants did not have a delivery service which meant we had to go and pick up any carry outs which was a little annoying but manageable. Parking in the shopping area is a bit difficult. The harbour area has some nice seafood snack places very nice if a little expensive.

    A lovely town along the coast buzzing with life. A good choice of restaurants , bars , fish and chip shops as well as good quality great and clothing shops. Easy to organise a boat trip to the Farne Islands.

    Car parking fees at seahouses main car park are shite ! Hotel is good value, a great bar/ restaurant, breakfasts are amazing, and lady who looks after it is fan bloody tasting! Best poached eggs and butter is to die for, [ according to my dietician] An amazing pub, quite quiet at this time of year, a massive contrast to summer, but Bar staff amazing,despite having to put up with a local leek club bloke who bored the tits off anyone in the pub about his renault ecu unit and brake block - feck me !,he needs to get out more !

    Hotel, staff, room, food and location were all excellent. We couldn't have been made to feel any more welcome. Breakfast was really good and fish and chip supper excellent. Views from the bar and restaurant are stunning and the hotel is just a short walk into Seahouses. This place really is a gem.

    We were in Seahouses for an event. The owners adapted their Breakfast and booking-in timetable to our requests. The position of the stay was perfect for walks, seaside facilities and Bamburgh Castle. The owners are friendly and chatty, with complete local knowledge.

    Right at the heart of Seahouses and overlooking the harbour. Their own terrace was a really large area, so plenty of space outdoors for the magnificent view of Bamburgh Castle and all of the ferry boats
