Seaton Carew is a small, lively town just outside of Hartlepool. There are a few excellent fish and chip restaurants and take aways but there are always queues for these. Several other nice restaurants and eateries Also several nice ice cream places There are some arcades and the beach is mostly sandy and a decent size On a night there is a mix of traditional pubs plus a few cocktail style bars. It's surprisingly lively with a vibrant and friendly atmosphere. Hartlepool is only 10 minutes by car or about a 45 minute walk and has a good selection of shopping, bars and restaurants. Middlesbrough is about 20 minutes away by car. My favourite place to stay, it's always so clean and the room is perfect. The view from the room is beautiful, there is plenty of fun to have at this location. I love the free pool table too. The bed is so comfortable, I go every year for my birthday. Wil be going a lot more. I'm just upset I can't take my son as it says it's not child friendly. But I would be there a lot more if this was possible. All in all my favourite place. Would highly recommend, and I'm a very picky person. So it says a lot lol!Guest review byToni
