As soon as I arrived and looked around the house I thought...
As soon as I arrived and looked around the house I thought this will do nicely and off I went to the cafe for coffee and cake. The lady in the old fashion sweet shop was very friendly and I bought sweets for my walk the following day. In the evening I ate at the pub on the main road. Settle is very easy to navigate and I love the friendly people and quaint buildings. My husband was a walks leader and he used to take me on many walks from Settle. There are so many footpaths easy and difficult and I think it is an excellent location for walking.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

It is a great central base, plenty of options for walking and cycling. Busy market town and typical Dales town. Filled with interesting buildings from centuries ago and lots of great cafe's and a bakery amongst some of the important services. Bus and Train services are readily available for both Giggleswick and Settle. Small supermarkets help provide for travellers and visitors to the area.
