This hotel was quite a surprise. The dining area and back yard were beautiful. Unfortunately, we had to leave early in the morning so we missed breakfast. However the charming owners made a wonderful takeaway breakfast for us. The room was cute as well.

Bayards cove is tucked away down a side street of Dartmouth close to the estuary. The inn is ancient, beautifully restored, atmospheric and cosy. There were lots of thoughtful touches, well appointed room, welcoming staff and a delicious breakfast with loads of choices.

We were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. Our friends who had flown from Texas to attend our wedding on the weekend prior, were equally impressed. Dinner was a special treat as we were joined by another couple who had been at our wedding and booked a room. Breakfast the next morning was perfect. We would recommend Stoke Lodge to anyone wanting to vacation in a very well run Hotel.
