The amazing hosts were kind, friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. We are considering moving to the area and they gave us some very useful information. All of the excellent food is locally sourced and the porridge is to die for!

Nice old inn, very comfortable and quirky in a fun way. Our host, Glenn, was friendly, helpful and just a good guy. THe food was out of this world. We ate dinner there 2 nights when we could have gone elsewhere. Glenn cooked us our choice of breakfast each day and it started us off with a smile. Excellent experience, would go back there in a heartbeat.

This is great accommodation. Cleanliness is outstanding..a really nice house and pleasant host, although we didn't see much of him. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need to self cater. Cutlery, pots , pans , plates fridges, freezers, herbs and spices.. Will be visiting again in summer.. Bed very comfy, shower very warm.

Owners brilliant - arrived (very) late and happy to greet me, amazing breakfast and couldn't have done more for me to make the stay comfortable. It's a farm, so there are animals wandering around the grounds - chickens, sheep and even a turkey. Best part: they asked when I wanted breakfast and baked bread fresh for this time, gave me several home made jams and made a fantastic meal. Filled me up for the day and such a pleasure to eat with the host, who told some fascinating stories. You could stay for cheaper at the Travelodge in the centre of Gainsborough. But if you want an unforgettable stay somewhere that is run by genuinely lovely people, then stay here. It was fantastic.

Beautifully decorated sympathetic to nature of older building. Lovely modern bathroom facilities and complementary toiletries. The owners are really friendly and go out of their way to be helpful - we were attending a wedding and were running late so they arranged for our room keys to get to us at the venue which made a massive difference to us.

Comfortable rooms with lovely linens. The gardens are a wonderful place to sit and relax. The food was superb, braised beef wrapped in prosciutto (it works) for one of us, duck done two ways for another, excellent sides, good wine choices available. One cannot ask for more.

Just 10 minutes’ drive from Humberside Airport, this 4-star guest house offers light, cozy rooms and free Wi-Fi. Barnetby Rail Station is just 5 minutes’ walk away.

Hello, A True Friend has stayed at this property previously and has recommended this Property, My Room was really lovely, and was in a quiet location. The Breakfasts filled me up each day I was staying. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to travel home earlier. The Guest House is really clean and hospitable. There is a bus stop close by, and the Railway Station is close by along the main road. This property offers scrumptous evening meals. But there are other options including a microwave in the Lounge upstairs, so you can get something from the Supermarket and heat it etc. There is also a very good pub that does meals which is by the Railway Station.
