Gas bbq in the veranda. Very quite beautiful and peaceful place. They provide towels which is not common in self catering places. Wifi is fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay.

Parking very close to caravan which was important to us as my husband is disabled.

The house was beautifully decorated, really homely and clean with a lovely view of the lake. Fully equipped with all the essentials - even down to orange juice and milk. Neil and Andy were great! Had a slight issue with opening the door and was sorted within 5 minutes. Perfect place to stay for a weekend away 😊

Everywhere seemed clean, being out of season some things were closed but we expected that. Our one complaint is that having paid £40 extra for entertainment passes, mainly to access food, we arrived to be told that due to a gas fault they only had pizza which I cannot eat, we do understand that things can happen but surely it would not have been difficult to do a minimal menu. Staff were all helpful and polite

Lovely little Cotswold village.
Lovely little Cotswold village. Nice pubs. We had a lovely drink in The George pub beer garden. You need a car to get around as limited public transport. Tried to book The Lakeside Brasserie (on Spring Lake) to eat but fully booked which was disappointing - so book well in advance! Had a wonderful day out at Westonbirt Arboretum - highly recommended. Lovely walks all around the area - would recommend the Thames path around Cricklade.

South Carney is a lovely Villiage with interesting old properties interspaced with more modern replacements. If you are interested in outdoor water activities there is a great water park on the outskirts and it is well placed for travelling to other sites of interest with great connections to the other bigger towns and cities located within easy driving distance. It has a beautiful medieval church and three local pubs that serve a good selection of refreshments and great pub grub at good prices.

Amazing, so relaxing . Can’t wait to go back. It is all so clean , well equipped kitchen, didn’t use the facilities on site this time but so much to do on site and so many activities around you. Great place to go. We just relaxed enjoyed the lodge with hot tub , so relaxing.

Great water sports available, and plenty of...
Great water sports available, and plenty of pubs/restaurants. Check amenities are open before you turn up! The kids loved kayaking and the inflatable boat ride on Spring Lake. We also enjoyed the Oasis swimming pool in Swindon on a rainy day. Plus a visit to Bourton-on-the-Water was perfect, especially the maze!

Looking forward to my return visit this week. Beautiful location, different perspective views at different times of the day, sunrise, sunset et cetera. Really well equipped and well supported on the ground too.
