There's a lot of aircraft noise being next to Heathrow. I stayed in Stanwell Moor before (off Long Lane) this was not an issue - strange.. There are some really nice places to go walking & seeing sheep & cows is a bonus. There's a good selection of shops on Clare Road, a wonderful fish & chip shop. The village is very English in some ways, though the population is diverse. Over the years have stayed in Stanwell for quite a few months but always whilst working. If you're on holiday it might be a little boring, but for me it's the perfect location as it's a short commute. Please refund. We were denied the room we had booked and paid for. The driver was very angry we weren't at the correct pickup place at Heathrow. We were lost, I was not rude to him, just trying to understand where to go to meet him. He hung up the phone on me. Breakfast was available if required and it was only a short walk into local town for a meal. But otherwise, the bed was comfortable, and that's all we wanted.
