Hotel in Stevenage
With a charming 15th-century pub and modern rooms with private bathrooms, The Roebuck Inn is less than 5 minutes’ drive from the A1(M) motorway. The owners Paul and Loong were friendly and welcoming. The grounds and garden were beautifully maintained as was the old building. Our room and bathroom was clean and neat. We had a delicious dinner from a menu with a good selection in the restaurant. Breakfast was first class and served with a smile by our excellent hosts.

Holiday Inn Stevenage, an IHG Hotel, Hotel Cromwell Stevenage, and Holiday Inn Express Stevenage, an IHG Hotel got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Stevenage.
The size of the rooms are too small. I requested for two single bed rooms of which only one room was made available. The corridor is dirty and smelling. There was complementary bottle water which was being said that we had to purchase. Never again would I book Ibis as it does not suit for purposes and far beyond expectations.
Driving from Scotland to visit my sister in hospital so no other comments had a take-away from the Golden Siam restaurant very expensive and not true Thai cooking having lived in Thailand for 12 years I am more than qualified to judge. If we have to visit again I hope that it will not be at the hospital.
Stevenage pretty soulless and due to unforeseen circumstances I had to spend the whole day there but didn't find anything of interest. However hotel is easy to reach and find from A1M so useful stopping off place.
We were in Stevenage specifically to visit with our daughter, husband and new grand-daughter. We loved that we could easily get around town with Uber. There was a small market area within walking distance of where we stayed with a little pub for breakfast and a Tesco Express. I have been to Knebworth House which you really should not miss. It is a lovely, stately old historical home in the area and was very nice to visit particularly if you are a history buff.
Amenities are nearby the hotel we stayed. I used to live in Stevenage. There are many hotels to stay. Knebworth house is nearby an interesting place to visit. There is good bus service. Many eating places.
Concierge rude with attitude issue with keys and codes too many to remember front door key was for another apartment could not get into room street door issues couldn’t get in parking restricted this is not a luxury apartment with all these issues only good thing is location
I had to stay overnight in Stevenage, so booked into The Cromwell. I was in room 101 which is designed as a single room for one, with a single bed. The room was decorated simply and very clean. A quality digital TV with good reception was a bonus. Lovely en-suite bathroom with the usual facilities, also very clean. Friendly staff on reception and in the bar area too. I’d certainly stay again.
Hotel was clean, looked recently decorated so fresh. Staff very friendly. Room was nice and the facilities satisfactory. Breakfast was tasty. All in all a very good place to stay, been before so was happy to return
Location great for the Old Town where there are great pubs and restaurants to cover all your needs. Tried this instead of usuing a hotel which as worked well and would use this again
